No doubt they play some great attacking football. But they are filthy bunch of players, cant believe what they are allowed to get away with in those games.

saw one of the strangest bits of refereeing ever at the end of that match.
madrid player got fouled but the ball was cleared well into the barca half in a dangerous position ref blows up for a free kick, but then blows for full time before it's taken. quite bizzare. |

The referee was sh1tting himself that Madrid got a goal as he knew damn fine that Diarra shoulf have been off in the first half.

Wasnt wanting to make any point about Barcas play, they enjoy a bit of acting themselves. But the intent to do harm in their relentless tackling sets Real apart. Im afraid if you cant see that you are blind or you support Real.

well i don't support either. but is seems to me that reals tackling is about "par for the course" in spanish football. whereas barcas diving can't be matched by any team on the planet.

Madrid players got yellows for every tackle tonight while Busquests and Cesc made tackles that were equally bad and got away with them.
Tbh both these teams are a bit of a farce and should look at Messi who gets on the game. |

Busquets and Alves probably go too fay, but most Barca players dont go oeverboard on diving etc - against Real they simply HAD to exaggerate the extent of the fouls a couple of seasons ago, cos Reals gameplan one match was simply to kick the livings hit out of them, and the ref was too weak to do anything about it - it was a way of making the ref finally take action against the terrible treatment they were receiving on the night.
from a purist standpoint, it is surely worse to watch a team mercilessly kick everything that moves, to destroy a game, than to watch people that are fouled slightly exaggerate real are utter scum under Mourinho |

for about the last 10 years nearly all barca players have hit the deck on contact [except messi mostly but he's becoming as bad as the rest]
there was a prime example there tonight, fabregas, hit the ground because of the slightest contact on his face. AND STAYED LYING PROSTRATE UNTILL THE REF STOPPED THE GAME. they're all at it. |
