In October and November, most of the MUGS seemed to disappear off the face of the forum. Having said that, even though October was short on quantity, it was high on quality, especially one of my favourites, the first one below. Also pleasing was the fact that Thick Stoke Hater! mr fishfingers was also exposed for his MUG PUNTING. 142 USA to win Ryder Cup (Golf) - Return_Of_Dawsey Destined to become one of the all-time classic MUG bets this one! Even goes close to pushing the I_McHunt_Pro-Punter 1.01 busted bet on MK Dons to beat Bradford when already 3-0 up!! Dawsey strode confidently to the tee, resplendent in his crisply starched plus fours and announced to the betting world: America are absolutely destroying us right now. It looks like America will be 6-2 up overnight. LUMP everything you can on the yanks @ 1.55 Now, there's a confident man for you....already counting his winnings, and the prospect saying goodbye to his cardboard box under Charing Cross Bridge for a night in a comfy bed in the hostel. And a proper breakfast, no more licking the remnants off discarded Big Mac wrappers. The world looked on expectantly...... Dawsey, having used all his skills of observation, came to the conclusion that the USA were now in an even better position, and had to take the plunge again: ALL IN @ 1.23 AMERICA FREE MONIES Risking everything, including his signed Cristiano Ronaldo thong (languishing in a window in a nearby pawn shop - resplendent with skid marks), Dawsey sat back waiting for the inevitable to happen. Imagine the scene, all the hobos and unwashed crowded around the Richer Sounds window with Dawsey (many of whom had followed him in on the USA) watching the drama unfold on screen....the sudden inevitable feeling of crushing defeat. They turn to look at their betting guru, who stares back at them with bloodshot, tear soaked eyes. Dawsey is contemplating how he can get his Cristiano thong back from the pawnbrokers. Somewhat bizarrely, there were no looged Epic Mug bets in November. I had to resurrect an old classic in order to keep the punters happy..... I_McHunt_Pro-Punter does a runner, a la AH Hunter after a Chelsea defeat, following yet another humiliating mug bet hits a dead end. Oh yes, King of the Mugs, I_McHunt_Pro-Punter shouted from the rooftops "DEAD CERT ALERT >> WEDNSDAY, THIS IS HOT STUFF". "2.14 IS A STEAL. over on the horseracing thread today we have a promising newcomer in "triumph or agony "(think it may be agony for his followers ) never heard anything from this fella before but he has shown immense promise with his "get on these thread " ,what is impressive is that he does not mess about with a piffling single or double ,he goes straight in with a short priced fav treble on the last 3 horse races of the day and hits the bullseye first time with 3 stunning losers (takes some doing to get 3 shorties turned over in 3 races on the bounce ),i dont know if its his first post but if it is its an impressive start .
he is a bit green and obviously needs tutoring in mugginess as he has not used any' "free money "or "all in full bank job " superlatives yet, but that will come with expierience and all mugs have to start somewhere , still a lot to learn but a start full of promise and one to watch for next seasons epic mugbets thread . |
