yep, still here in the background following how your all doing.....well done everyone, amazing stuff going on  still plugging away myself since 1st Jan, up to bet 22 with a bank of £251.44 in my 'super disciplined' attempt....1st target of £2693 (when I'll earn £50 per bet and will bank alternative bets up to 1K stashed) is moving slowly closer....only another 128 bets to go   just started a 'titanic' (ie...I can forsee a sneeky iceberg looming, as its not so disciplined) attempt today and I'm on bet 6 from £50 with a £100 in bank now, thanks to > 1.5 HT in the Bolton match! Only popped my head back up as I'm trying to duck my 'forum posting jinx' to ask a quick question of elisjohn or anyone in the know as I dont know much about cricket...I think I've got the gist of the 'no tied' result from your earlier posts....just wondering though....if a T20 or ODI was rained off, or some other event meaning the match couldnt go full time.....what result is that please?? Only asking as I've been trying to do a bit of self education on the rules etc so I know what I'm betting on, but cant find out on t'internet! thanks in advance for any replies......and keep going folks, its a great Band of Brothers thing going on.....love it  |

I'm fairly sure debsam that in those events the match is abandoned and/or called a no result which will void both the match odds and tied match markets. In a test match, it's more likely that will be a draw. (not actually sure if you can have no results in test matches).
You can have a "tie" in both a test match and a limited overs game but they are even more rare in the former. |

debsam, im not a cricket expert, but from what i know, a 1 day match has to play a certain number of overs, if not then bets void, but if they play a certain number and then rain there is a d/l method to produce a winner or a tied match. .

cheers guys. yeh mate was a top of table clash and we won 6-1. we had 10 men 15 min b4 kickoff. got on phone to ma dad who's 47 an sed fancy a match dad we only got 10. he then notches equalizer with a sublime finish and then five minutes later i curled a shot in from 25 yards to put us 2-1 at half time.
he then has to go and pick my sister up from work so we back down to 10 men again playin against wind for 2nd half. but we caught them on counter to go 3-1 up and he came back on pitch with about 20min left. an i had the norwich match running thru ma head all game trying to blank out the fact it was going to finish goalless thanks to fernando terrible. i then get back ma dad shows me his goals galore coupon 7/8 waitin for huddersfield vs brentford which is 3-2. so he won £450 of a fiver at 90/1 and said he would give me half which i'm very grateful for as i just lost £550 myself. been a crazy day |
