Always wary about playing bottom side, happens all the time in every league when top plays bottom that a surprise result happens. Not expecting an easy win but with urgency from the very off and a 2 goal lead things should be fine.

how many times have we won the big one only to lose the next to a diddy team like dunfermline. Kayal a huge loss

this is exactly whats stopping me do a damn near full bank job on celtic at the moment. i know they can easily win it, but with it being the first game after the newyear/chrismas celebrations, loosing kayal, and dumfermline getting a man back after injuries, it changes the "walkover" scenario, to need to work a bit harder + the odds at 1.3 are piss poor and dont allow for any mistakes.

Yea he wanted Mowbury as Celtic manager when asked who he wanted to replace Strachan. Not too spot on about that and not spot on at all since Lennon took charge and won't be spot on come May.

Is this you setting up another attack Joe when a couple of players come in you never heard of. Lustig for me could be the 1st choice right back in time. Diawara i hope comes as he unlike Bangura has a good goalscoring record. I would be fine with Carlos Cuellar coming in on a free. I think big Sammy will go in January ironically when he is playing well but time to get a couple of mill for him maybe 3.

When: 02 Jan 12 17:53
yea agreed i was never optimistic about Bangura and for 2.3 million. Larsson is not to be trusted on these matters. I think they signed him because Diawara deal fell through at time. 4 right bavks is also confusing. Wilson for me was doing fine but his knee is gone, Matthews is doing ok while i think Cha is on his way now or summer.

I noticed in the paper today that Dorian Goian has accused Scotland's refs for giving too many 50-50 decisions against Rangers this season. He does have a point imo and if Celtic fans feel similar last season, and they genuinelythink there is a masonic conspiracy, well, that's well and truly blown out of the water this season.

Just as a matter of interest, has anyone seen thebrave posting lately?? He stalked me for a good while, but it was all in good fun. Anybody know how he's getting on?

Plenty of decisions going in Rangers favor this season. Goian just frustrated his team are finally being called up on their dirty tactics they had been getting away with for so long. Healy should never have been on pitch today for his intentional foul on forrest.Last season went along way to addressing the referring situation and since then it is much more fairly balanced. It will probably take Rangers fans a while before they realize it is the best thing for them in the long run.

He does have a point imo and if Celtic fans feel similar last season, and they genuinelythink there is a masonic conspiracy, well, that's well and truly blown out of the water this season.

The pundits couldn't say for definite the ball crossed the line after endless slow motion replays so it's difficult to see how any referee in the country would've called a goal (even a referee who's apparently got eyes in the back of his head). The linesman clearly was unsighted going by the pictures as otherwise a goal would've been awarded (his hooper offside hardly indicated he was a micky).

That takes us to the two sending offs against St Mirren. I know Ally thought the St Mirren player went down too easily but this is the same Ally who reckoned Aluko had been poleaxed for the penalty he won against Dunfermline. Obviously stewarty sees it the same way though and thinks Rangers two SPL games against ICT this season have been refereed fairly. He probably thinks the penalty awarded to Hearts by Boughera's bestest buddie at Parkhead was a stonewall hand ball unlike Jelavic's against ICT. And what about that penalty the huns got for holding against Hibs. Stewarty obviously thinks` trapping a fairy's hand with your forearm is much more severe than having Bsrtley hold your shirt.

HNY stewarty. No referee did more for Rangers last year than Willie Collum. The eyes in the back of the head penalty, the Hamilton offside goal / penalty denied and the 3 penalties and sending offs at Tannadice. This very young man's meteoric rise to the top has got nothing to do with his refereeing ability. When we were guessing who was going to be the new Dougie McDonald who would've dreamed it would be the crucifix man.

All true Feck but things are on a much fairer and equal balance since Lennon was brave enough to take the inevitable abuse for standing up for the truth on these matters. Assuming this equal balance between all teams continues, it really has to for the SPL to function, then Scottish football can start to rise again with all the new financial measures and restrictions coming into all leagues to stop the widening divide in standard all stemming from greed.

feck you have long lost any credibility you may have had on this forum with your insane ramblings about refs .
but you have now hit new heights if youre saying the wallace goal didnt cross the line.
just accept for once that you won the game by default .
it might help people from looking at you as a figure of fun on here.
By:
Feck N. Eejit

zip, nothing has changed.

longchamps, where did I say the ball didn't cross the line? What I will say is this. That "goal" will be dragged up every time a dodgy decision goes against Celtic or for Rangers. It's good to see that you huns are finally moving on from that shy Roy Aitken supposedly took for you decades ago.
By:

i mean you.

zip, at what point do you believe this remarkable transformation within the sfa took place. Was it after they decided to let Boughera & Diouf off with a fine so they'd be available for the run in? Was it after the ICT game where Celtic were denied two stonewallers? Was it after they replaced Dallas with a man who has never seen any bias in the 29 years he's been following Scottish football?

longchamps, I agree with your half-witted pal who was on the phone in. "It was 95% over the line".
Laugh

Do you agree Hooper was well onside when through one on one with McGregor? Do you agree the foul on Forster was a sending off offence?
By:
longchamps

for the record there is no way any ref or linesman could have gave the goal such was the speed it all happened at.

I don't think anyone can say it was definitely a goal. It probably was but I don't think it matters in the debate we're having. Others have put forward the hypothesis that the ref & linesman were pro-Celtic but, like yourself, I'm saying they couldn't possibly have called a goal such was the speed it all happened at whereas the two important calls they did have control over both went Rangers way.

In times gone by if there was a chance it was over the line it would be given but it never looked a goal in normal play and was a surprise to many on replay that it was even debatable. These incidents happen everywhere. The offside one also an incident that happens in many games. The lack of sending off for Healy was down to the ref being briefed and advised to try to avoid any sending off or major flare up drama. Many bookies were offering money back if there was a red card. Surely this is all common sense by now.
Feck the incidents you mention from last season all existed and should be pointed out and many of them were not incidents that happen everywhere and were just too blatant for words but you have to move on and trust things are changing other wise they never will.

feck the fact that you wont accept that the ball crossed the line
how can anyone listen to any other grievances you might have.
in fact how can anyone discuss anything with you.
