CCM. I take your points on board. There are enough Reds over the years who have laughed in my face with the success you have had. I accept that this is not you and my 'laughing' comment in the main refers to those 'type' of fans. To that end I'll apologise. I think you have missed my point about (i'd rather be blue than red). Imo I feel that Everton have run and are doing a pretty good job on very little finances. Liverpool however have imo had money to spend and Benitez had in the region of 74 players through the door. On those stats you should be challenging? Even last season Benitez was asking for more money? I suppose we could go on and agree to disagree, but I think Everton can compete with Liverpool on the pitch with the current first 11 being available. I don't think thats unrealistic. Hodgson will certainly balance the ship and instill that dressing room stability that I feel Benitez lost long before his Ferguson rant.... Quality if you don't mind me saying.

if they dont get to a certain amount in a certain time do these mongs who are giving cash- are ppl really giving cash to this or is this a wind up :)

do they get their cash back?

lol saw this on the spirit of shankly website

John Aldridge was joined on stage by fellow legend Howard Gayle and talked about the work being done by Share Liverpool and the Union and the way in which the owners were "suffocating" the Club and that they had to go.

couldnt they get stig inge bjornebye or someone?

all i can do is show my support , on the march, join the union , buy the shirt etc .at the end of the day as with any other club supporter when you have supported your team all your life and you see it crumbling beneath your eyes then do something or let it die !
By:
morrissey
When: 09 Jul 10 07:05
the worst that will happen to liverpool is that they will be trophyless and mid table for a few years.. we all know it.. they wont let the club die as they lose a fking fortune.. they will eventually sell same as the yanks in charge at united will but only when they are forced to or they get their price..

unfortunatley for liverpool neither of those things will happen imo for a while.. no one will get it on the cheap for at least two seasons especially if they sell torres and gerrard and masch.. which in business are known as assets and the first things to go (whether sooner or later) and they will make the payments..

although saying that i think the saving thing is stupid but i do like to see ppl having a voice and trying,...

and no one has answered yet. it is like a massive savings account or do you lose your money.. if you donate 100 pounds what exactly happens?

and ho wmuch of the money is being taken for 'admin costs'... all serious questions

morrisey i'm not a red scouser as you put it, but i'm told its like any other Credit Union (Savings/Loans etc) but the option within the Union is to purchase shares at the club. Its in the region of 500 per customer or more if they wish. If enough is obtained which is a tall order then the fans can make an approach to purchase a quantity of shares or buy the club outright. I admire their efforts but don't think that is achievable imo

DIC have recently borrowed with an interim loan to delay payments on existing finances. Don't think they are viable now. Lets face it, the Americans or DIC the club would have been bought on the never never.

Degsy, I just thought club crumbling comments are bold ones. I'll answer you comment about how did you get into this mess. Moores sold you down the river to the biggest bidder. He got an extra payout from the Americans. I don't see fans having a go at him?

totally agree , moores and parry had their hands in the gillette and hicks till , sold the club down the river , they should hang their heads in shame
