Here lies Sir Nash of Wan, legendary founder of the Betfair Forum, taken from us in his prime. He has been interred wrapped in a Cypriot flag and with several of his concubines
Cantonasboots: died suddenly of rage aged 17 and three quarters. Buried in his knitted tanktop. His prized pink VW Beetle (reg Q173 CBS) was never claimed by any of his friends so went to scrap. Its fluffy steering wheel cover is still draped across his headstone.
Haggis McMutton: he of the coffee-stained teeth, lupine morning breath, wild rolling eyes and triffidine hair. Missing presumed insane, he was last seen shouting at vegetables in Asda.
Obeone's body was never washed up on the south coast suggesting that either he made it at least half way to France or that he and his mother-in-law were welcomed into a passing pod of cetaceans. On stormy nights, if you stand alone on Brighton beach, and listen carefully... you can hear above the crashing of the waves and the howling of the wind.... RRRROOOOOOOO... RRROOOOO... MMMMMMAAAA... RRRROOOOOOOOOOO-MMMMMMAAA

Occasional spontaneous protests erupt regarding his continued incarceration on what supporters believe to be trumped-up charges. Some rumours persist that he is dead or has reincarnated, but in war the first victim is truth and it's likely we will never know for sure.

wifebeater, though not dead, had his identity stolen and never got it back again. A living lesson to us all to shred our bank statements before throwing them away and not letting our mates on our PCs, his heart is healing nicely after a difficult transition to his new life.

He had a reputation as a shrewd operator on here in 2007, so a lot of people followed him, and this developed into a syndicate of Forumites and their relatives. Supposedly the start bank was 500K and after a few months there was nothing left. Footsoldiers disappeared for 6 months then started a thread on General Betting which attracted the attention of the forumites who had done their life savings . Epic,Epic Thread , never seen such genuine seething on here . Got seriously out of hand with some of the stuff being said, carried on for hours before the mods noticed and deleted it. And Footsoldiers was never seen on here again. |
