Made good progress this year U25k, great first quarter, decent second quarter.
Had a poor July, because I lost big on the Euro2012 Final, and then the football was poor the rest of the month, so didn't make much of it back, only a small loss for the month though. Decent August, and it was a good September, but then had a terrible weekend, losing on barca with 3 quick goals on saturday, and then 3quick goals and another 3 quick goals in the same match in the Rayo Vallecano yesterday, lost so much that I'm now -317 for the month on Betfair, and another 1700 down outside of BF. |

what matters is net figures. Losing few weeks or losing/winning few bets doesn't tell the whole story. Unless you don't want your girl friend to know net figures, there is no need to hide it.

Another 15k loss on Thursday with 2 goals in 2 minutes in the Liverpool one (3-5). incredible.
Made a profit on every single match I've traded since then though (did the spurs one, then took Friday off), with my best day ever yesterday, which included: Birmingham v Barnsley 0-5 (with 5 goals in 23 minutes) Celta Vigo v Getafe 2-1 (2 goals in 2 minutes, I was on the right side for once!) Barcelona v Granada 2-0 (2 late goals after '87 where I made loads being on 0-0 and cutting risk toward the end looking at Granada breaking down as relatively weak teams often seem too, same pattern as Southampton v Man U). Incredible that this run of high scoring matches just seems to go on without end. Recovered more than 40% of what I've lost in total, which looks like I've been chasing, but I think these big ups and downs are mainly random, and the edge only manifests in the longer term (3 month time periods). |

Unlucky investor I was mainly on CS market last season trying a few ideas but found it too hard.But this season I have been trying mainly overs and match odds (IN PLAY)remembering that SCV always answered bob ''I bet in play'' (Which I hardly ever done before) and for me I have had a decent weekend.
I am going to give up on the horses and stick to football what I know best with the odd Tennis n Golf trades here and there for the new season. pistachio - would love a holiday after such a good week ,but then there's the problem - a full week of football ahead lol !
currently i put aside for living expenses and a 'rainy day' float - and then the rest towards a future house move if prices ever come down - so no outright luxuries for me really ,some nice food and a few little treats .Tend to spend the same regardless of income really - have to aim for the 300 weekly mark to keep head above the waterline i find ,that includes mortgage,council tax etc . Have managed to get mortgage down through pay offs from here - so no complaints so not way yet in Investors league  oh yeah,played tennis the other day - got beaten off the park though |

yeah,had the mortgage since 2002 from my old job - so it's like paying a low rent in reality ,bank knows this is my game now and they don't appear to care . Investor has had a crazy week by all accounts . glad you keep on with the winning ,must be a nice little boon for you too |
