 So do you always red out/ green up or leave bets open too? I used to have a purely 'by the numbers' approach, but over the last 12 months I realized my margins are higher for judgement call bets, than for bets taking advantage of relative price discrepancies. If the price seems wrong (on a standalone basis, not in relation to other markets), I'll oppose it now, whereas I used to pay too much respect to the market. |

Most of them are straight bets but I use to green out when I get the opportunity to lay-green out at very low prices.
Trading/scalping is not worth the time nowadays in soccer matches as it was the old days, if I am in a trading mood and there is no soccer game to watch in my TV screens I move to tennis markets. Another reason which encourage leaving bets/take risks is obviously pc, so I have changed strategy through the years to a more risky one. Respect to the (soccer) market? ZERO  |

I had a very big loss today too, on the 3 quick consecutive goals in the Barca match, Soccer: -£6,920.49 | Tote: | Total P&L: -£6,920.49 and another £2630 lost outside of Betfair. Still, goal crazy teams make me the most, but the volatility is high. |
