c'mon guys, champions league and europa league start this week. There is no time for holidays!!!! Then olympics then international window then by then the final pre season friendlies and the early start leagues , on top of scandenavia and ireland leagues, the super rugby finalies coming up, grand prix, cricket on every week.........there is NO off season. Fill your wallets!!!!

I was just looking through this a bit. I find switching from football to tennis betting is hard and usually if tennis is on all day then I will just forget about the footy as I can't focus on two different types of markets, nevermind switching between the two sports. Maybe it's just my method though.

Last goal also cost me a tasty win. Last 2 matches wiped out all my Euro winnings, ended up about £70 down over the tournament. Well down all winners (and magnificent Spain), bad luck to the losers (and gallant Italy). |

Write off your current losses. You must forget they exist otherwise you'll set targets and chase. Deposit £10. Turn that into £11 in 1 month. This should teach you about discipline. Accept that it could be another year of trial and error until you find YOUR way.

I have told you many times bob, I think a lot about things all the time, I have a very analytical brain. When I started this my mind was totally absorbed by it when I wasnt using it for my pesky job and as a consequence I was able to explore ways of making money. Anyone who makes money on here has been through a similar process involving the old grey matter and it's an ability you simply don't possess.

no bets today and i will probably not be doing much over the next month, though will post what i do.
for what its worth the last six months have been the most consistently successful half year for me on here for a long time and think having to fess up to the daily result on the thread has been a big reason for that. it just makes me that bit more patient to wait for the really good ones. they are out there but you have to avoid the temptation of all the fun/interest bets that can also call to you whenever you log on. GL if you keep playing and enjoy your holidays if not. |

Well done Jim. You've always seemed very consistent to me. I like the fact that a bad day doesn't seem to knock you off your stride. You just seem to put it behind you and treat the next day like any other, rather than giving in to temptation and going off on a wild chase. I'd guess you have the patience and discipline needed to be successful at this game. Have a good time (partially) off.
