Liverpool stand 7th in the league after what must be one of the most dire string of results in their history.
Their 2 best players need a month off. Rafa will not be manager if they fail to qualify for the CL. Without the CL money the squad will have to be trimmed. |

ppl keep saying they need a cash in jection... didnt they spend 20 million on an italian who is reknowned for being slightly injury prone?
how many 20 million pound signings did united, chelsea, and arsenal make in the summer just out of interest? |

The problem is £20,000,000 does not buy the kind of player United want.
Now City have upped the stakes any world class player will cost at least £40,000,000. |

Whoever ends up in fourth spot, they will be 20 points behind the third. I've seen both City and Villa this season at Ewood and neither impressed as top four candidates. As for Spurs, they rarely finish anywhere remotely close to the top four.

Pitiful to imagine the present Liverpool are heavyweight anythings.
Liverpool's heavyweights sit on the MoTD sofa and are grandparents. |
