Nice of the FA to delay Fergies touchline ban till after Sunday. A wasted game . Who is the ref ? Is it a Fergie approved one ?.

Martin Atkinson to referee Chelsea v Manchester United clash
Martin Atkinson, subject of past criticisms from Sir Alex Ferguson, will referee Manchester Uniteds Premier League trip to Chelsea on Sunday. By John Ley Published: 10:55PM GMT 04 Nov 2009 In charge: Martin Atkinson will referee the Chelsea v Manchester United match on Sunday Photo: GETTY IMAGES Ferguson has admitted a charge of improper conduct for his comments on referee Alan Wileys fitness recently and could face a fine or a touchline ban from the Football Association. In March 2008, the manager was given a severe warning by the FA after criticising Atkinson and the Premier League head of referees, Keith Hackett, after United lost 1-0 to Portsmouth. You would know coming from where you do ;) .
|
|
By:
it seems to me that chelsea fans, and the vast majority of neutrals think chelsea will win .
wheras the vast majority of utd fans hope they'll win :) |
|
By:
his tactics will be to blame everyone else but himself and his team.
as usual |
|
By:
It is another thing in Chelsea,s favour, his hold on refs has gone,he is on the retreat . We can now have an even playing field. As Jose said "when the ball is 2 yards over the line and a goal is not given ,you should never again criticise officials" Funny he seemed happy with that decision ;) .

By:
mex you clown most utd fans know that even mis firing and missing players you write utd off at your peril ;-)

Goal line issues. Pleasing.
:-) |
|
By:
For me it isn't even a point for debate
Historically the better team - United (Chelsea have a LONG way to go to even begin to claim this) Better at this very moment in time - Chelsea A lot can change over a season though. |

as i said roy.
hoping. maybe wishing. nice to see the blind faith. |
|
By:
Based on years of evidence...yes blind faith. See you in may ;-)
|
|
By:
how are previous results that were [chelsea much better at the bridge than man u of late anyway] achieved with a better team be considered evidence, apart from people with a very loose grasp of logic?

thread has gone haywire? ======================================= only since the forum imbicile appeared. he seems to have that effect on whatever thread he soils. |
|
By:
christ you mugs repeat the same nonsense round about the same time every season. its standard.
As i said see you when the prizes are being handed out. |
|
By:
manu have beat Chelsea before under similiar circumstances when the all conquering Mourinho was in charge. 1-0 i think at OT, fletcher. but tomorrow is different in the sense that the MU defence is weak without Rio & Vidic and MUs midfield is so poor atm. Nani is the worst MU winger I've seen for 15 years. Fergie will get a reaction but he can't change the fact that the Chelsea midfield will dominate play.
1-0 or 2-0. |
