I had Lewis Lauby and Scotty Dog in my Fantasy Darts team.  Doubt I'll be winning this year Sad   Came so close last year.  11th out of over 1,000.  Would've won if DVDB had won

Scotty Dog must have been a tough watch. Had darts to win probably every leg and missed every one until the match was as good as over

One more try...

Unable to post Scotty walking his invisible dog. Cry
Still, there's always the 3 times bdo champ and his cronies Williams and Hughes to sit through.

Absolutely brilliant darting display by Borland from start to finish. Gave no fecks about his young upstart opponent. Just threw darts and never doubted his ability, while disproving the myth about the first round / match being the hardest.

The millionaire elite players say it ruins their Christmas if they get beat before the 25th.
What do they want their first matches to be, best of 11 sets?

Meanwhile, Darius showed the world how to celebrate the 9 dart finish, before losing the match.
Whereas Gerwen goes mental just by winning a leg, against Barstow.
The elite clowns try to convince us it's not to intimidate / put off their opponents.

Really?

Sunday afternoon session:

Kuivenhoven v Ky Smith
Heaver v Mathers
Soutar v Portela
Bunting v Ross Smith

Selections:
Soutar to have most 180's and win match
Bunting v R Smith - both have 2 or more 180's

Good evening Bob. Compliments of the season and hope you and yours will have a nice Christmas. Same to everyone else on this beleaguered Forum btw.

I see that "the true World Championship" has been postponed for at least a few months (shame).

I think they might as well do a bit of good and give the "85% unsold" tickets to Big Issue sellers to get them off our streets for a few hours.

The bar has been raised a bit in the last couple of days by Clayton, Smith, and to a lesser extent Barney and Chizzy. Dimi 102 average and gets beat by some 1000 rag Cry Anyone could come through the 2nd quarter now

Suljovic looks destroyed. 2-0 up in sets and legs. Then 2-0 up in the final set. 8 missed darts for the match and eventually loses to a 144 finish. In truth he didn't play well

I couldn't resist another post.

Hey up No Bob! Seasons greetings one and all.
I'm patiently waiting on Pauliow to post some woke pics to get with the times.
F@ck that! Get them walk on girls back on the forum!

The 3rd round is where the tournament starts to unravel at pace.
Last 32, best of 7 sets. No excuses for any top player.

Monday Afternoon Session 12:45
1) Daryl "Karaoke King" Gurney from the North v Dirk "The Smirk" Duijvenbode
2) Michael "Why am I not World No 1" Smith v "William of Ireland" from the South
3) Florian "Handball" Hempel v Raymond "The Guru" Smith

Monday Evening Session 19:15
1) James "Post match online Interview Legend" v Vincent "No Nonsense" van der Voort
2) Gerwen "Back to Back World Champion" Price v Kim "No Entry Non Refugee" Huybrechts
3) Johnny "So many Superlatives" Clayton v Gabriel "Not named after a horse" Clemens

After seeing the draw it took a handful of seconds to come up with these selections:

Afternoon session:
1) No bet
2) Bully Boy - Most 180's v Willie
3) No bet

Evening session:
1) No bet
2) Price to beat Kim
3) Clayton to beat Clemens

Probably the most predictable of selections but that's my treble.
Pays 10/11

A nod or 2 there to the great man Hibbee. Hope you're well and enjoying your retirement.

Good luck all.

P.S.
James at his interviewing best. Play it all or forward to this bit of madness @ 2:48 mins.
Stand up comics would kill for this material.
