Smith's draw isn't that easy. I mean I guess first 3 rounds are on paper, but after that Mensur and Cross just to reach semi's is hardly easy, especially if you look at someone like Price's draw.

i thought whitlock would win as well but would back   these long odds chances, first to win 3 sets is a bad time to bet long odds on  in my view.ive always got money 1st two rounds with almost continual  lay favs on no bet, i can suffer betting slight odds on  but generally i avoid the shorties. from last 16 its generally much tougher tougher to beat the jollies so at that stage  i  start having more no bets.

Wade's price is crazy for a 1 set shootout.

Yer also think he missed his chances with timing a number of times. Eg. both legs on throw in last set to get to 2-2 Wade threw pretty averagely but Asada didn't play good legs either, yet was playing very well on his throw. Combined with Wade taking out a number of combination checkouts led to his downfall.

Wade is rarely if ever gracious, though particularly in defeat. A nasty bit of work and no surprise he was in the face of a Japanese player who he knew wouldn't react. Wouldn't have done that to a bigger name.

How many times do I have to tell you that Mensur doesn't like/can't play sets format

I've only just seen the Wade incident. If the PDC had any gumption then they would reinstate asada and chuck Wade out. You cant bully and intimidate an opponent in that way. If they let this go what message is it sending to others?

darts is a non-contact sport where you have your turn and then you take your darts out of the board and walk away allowing your opponent to take their turn

I would clamp down like a ton of bricks on these counts who think they push the boundaries and intimidate their opponents

certain things that have happened recently (including wade last night) are close to meriting suspension from the tour imo

Wonder, totally agree. They need to do something quick, if not it will turn into anything goes. Wade should be thrown out really but won't happen. A large fine and a final warning at the very least.

Well they let Gerwyb Price get away with doing it in the Grand Slam final. Others will have seen that and thought it's acceptable to act in this manner to secure the win
