Priestley was one of the greats of the pdc. Easily 5 world titles in him if that pest Taylor wasn't around.
Shows how good the Menace was as they shared their purse. Not many Taylor would do that with.

Must be the first time in 20 years that Taylor ain't the current holder of a major title?

Priestley was tough watch at times due to pace of play but concentration he put in every dart and how often he would hit key shots.

Funniest moments :  you could fill a 30 minute highlights programme with Colin Lloyd's contributions alone

He famously threw all the water from a jug into an appreciative crowd to demonstrate his love of the H2O, and unforgettably showed off his rippling torso to a swooning Ally Pally.

And lest we forget, punching a dartboard and injuring your knuckle in the process is "part and parcel of the game Dave".

In all seriousness, I think that crazed "BEST OF THE BEST" broadcast to the nation last year was the peak moment of PDC madness, even in comparison with Dr Rod's undoubted expertise about airflow movements through old buildings.

That Barney broadcast to the nation came out of absolutely nowhere, after a rather routine win for him, and a patchy match. It certainly caused a meltdown on here alone.
