Surely there's something wrong with the ranking system if 3 of the best 16 ranked players in the world (PDC Only) are priced 100/1,150/1, and 200/1. So much for Uncle Barry's Circus having strength in depth

Phil's mate Charlie pushed him out to 4/1 following the news.
At the price it could be worth a bullseye. Depending on the mindset of the man, it could go one of two ways...produce a well below game and 80+ average and gets ko'd by Jenks in the opening round, or somehow find an inner steel to reel off his usual 100+ averages to steamroller the field and claim the trophy for his mum. All eyes will be on Phil. I fear a meltdown along the way, a sad situation. Shouldn't let sentiment get in the way when gambling. Feck the lay, I'm on. Just a tenner though and will play it by ear.
Side note - BV are notorious for non refunds for non runners in their outright darts markets, especially on the pro tour floor events. Should Taylor withdraw from The Masters, Kim Huybrechts will take his spot as the 17th seed. The sad irony being Kim played shortly after his dad passed

Big shake up at the channel also sees the exit of Chiles and Townsend.

Saturday 31st January on ITV4 from 12:45pm to 5:00pm
Matt Smith is joined by Alan Warriner-Little and Chris Mason for live coverage of four first-round games. Last year James Wade produced a sensational comeback in the final against Mervyn King to be crowned Masters champion. The 'Machine' was 9-3 down at one point but battled back to claim the title in Edinburgh. This year the action moves to the Milton Keynes Arena as Wade, and fifteen of the top ranked players in the order of merit, battle it out.
Commentary from Stuart Pyke and John Rawling.

A big well done to Sid James who've finally found the balls to go 10/11 for +/- highest checkout instead of the cowardly 5/6 like the rest of those shíthouses! D&B will be pleased
I'll be using them a lot more from now on and I hope their 'enterprise' is rewarded and punters see the light.

Good to hear NG. I'm out tomorrow...V early to Hospital Paradiso then straight to UK Open qualifier (12 noon deadline). Main bet - Wright v Dolan Total 180's - Under 6.5 @ evens (when market opened). Also had a poke on Whitlock/Barney, for whom neither looks to have had an ideal preparation in what is a warm up to the Premier League Exhibition jolly up. (These top players have never had it so good)! Over 16.5 Legs @ 10/11 sly & corals.
Outrights and other bets are a couple of posts above. Should catch some of the afternoon session at Riley's. Then back home in time for the evening session.
For anyone who can be bothered, there's a carp Masters Comp. Should take 5 mins max to view and post your entries.
