Anybody know anything about the 2 qualifiers ?
9/2 the qualifier to be Dolan seems big if either are any good. I like the 3/1 Suljovic bet, You couldn't back any of them big odds on fav with huge confidence |
By:
Think it'll be a day for the favourites today - not overly looking forward to it. Suljovic the most likely to cause an upset I agree, although still expect Smith to pull through. Much rather be backing Smith on the maxes which is a bigger price than the match odds. Would be very surprised if he didn't hit a few more than Suljovic.
By:
Sully is capable on the maxes OTB. Granted he might go 180, 26, 45, 58 but he is capable
![]() Had a very small bet on Caven at Evs to win with both players winning a set too. Never seems to make it easy for himself but should scrape through I feel |
By:
If Suljovic can avoid getting injured when Smith throws his toys out of the pram then that'd be my bet, thought he might have been a better price tbh. Maybe Barney to win with both players winning a set too (10/11).

ive backed Smith to win 3 - 0
bit worried now. ![]() |
By:
suljovic capable but smith hits them for fun once he gets going. Only outsider I'll be taking is perhaps Rowdy to beat Barney. Showed that he isn't afraid of the name players when he turned over Lewis, and Barney is priced up on name alone.
Some of PP match specials are worth looking at - win, high check, and most 180s. |

Usual rubbish from Eric about the bdo worlds barney won.
By:
Granted the main man was pdc in taylor but was better field for many of those bdo worlds than mob they had playing the pdc ones.
By:
best pdc players had bye to the semis
By:
Each to their own - he has a point though imo with regards to the PDC one being more important/more superior. Lewis' 2 worlds > Barney's 5 worlds.
By:
Now without a doubt but when barney won his bdo worlds the talent pool in bdo was deeper than pdc for me.
By:
Shows how dull it is tonight we're gonna be inflicted with cricketers commentating again
![]() |
By:
Oh yeah no doubt that at a point the BDO was the stronger of the 2. Barney wouldn't have 5 though if Taylor was in the field that much is for sure. It's why his '5 time world champ' stuff is take with a pinch of salt for mine. Maintain though that Lewis' 2 PDC titles are more of an achievement. Not taking anything away from Barney in his own right - was a quality player until Taylor beat the fight out of him.

AC/DC are ruling the walk ons
![]() |
By:
part and barney both came across and pinched worlds off taylor. Taylor clearly the best of both formats but for me wouldnt have 16 if unified sport for all them years.
By:
but yep mate, pdc having the best player during that period clearly huge in its favour.
By:
Cooks better at darts than he is at cricket
By:
Yeah suppose it's pretty subjective really - can see the argument for both sides. Nowdays though the PDC is a huge way ahead hence the Lewis titles/any that other players win now are worth more than any of the 2 say a decade ago for mine.

I heard cook went out on his normal score.....................2

Could be over sharpish this
By:
Caven's doubling is why he always gives inferior players a chance
By:
Yeah his scoring never really an issue. Half tempted to take Hogg to get the highest checkout in play at 2/1. He didn't look overly handy at the double either though.
By:
Fair shout OTB might only win 1 or 2 would be the only issue
By:
Playing quite beautifully really is a stock phrase of Nigel

this is a sraight up flip from here, hogg looks solid

Reckon this finishes 3-2 Caven
By:
Oh and the BDO was much stronger than the PDC seniors event when Barney was winning.
it was not even close. |
By:
caven 6 legs of 15 darters would cover the spread...no chance
![]() |
By:
![]() I tried to lay Caven for a grand at 1.08 after the first leg but missed it. I should stop being so greedy There is a trend in this tournament so far, if the big odds on favourite wins the first leg they often lose the second |

Keep those 180's rolling in

I just found this from the 2007 PDC world champs.
Adrian Lewis England 92.65 3–0 Australia Anthony Fleet 76.50 Rumours of him playing terribly just because he was drunk might be exaggerated. |
