D&B - that's a great picture...it comes out to play every once in a while Happy
Who christened those two Hobo & H20 and WHY? Confused

H20 was christened after the first GSOD when he said his favourite drink was water

Hobo came out as he looked homeless

I think Alun is definitely responsible for at least one of them

JohnWalk,

tonight's prelim is a fascinating affair. As you rightly say, Perez has solid form from previous world champs. Of his opponent the 27 year old Spaniard Cristo Reyes, I watched the Iberian qualifiers and updated scores in play on the forum, (yep, i really do watch any darts going). Reyes was consistently averaging 90+ and impressed me.

4/6 for a previous wc qualifier, (could be jet lagged)? who's main game is the soft tip machine, or 6/4 bf for a wc debutant of the more familiar steel tip variety.

Best of 7 legs is a coin toss - Watch out Wesley.

if you are going to watch on a internet stream you should get a chromebook.

cheap and the fastest machines on the planet.

and virus free which means no issues when watching a stream.

i know it is not the right tournament, but...

LETS PLAY DARTS.................

Hope sky put on the studio interviews again, dont like this quick 2 minute job at the stage side.

Couldn't agree more Steppy. How can a Philosopher King such as Chizzy be expected to impart his Dalai Lama type priceless wisdom in a 30 second interrogation at the side of the stage?

Nice to see we're rid of that horrible red and black stage.

Thanks HH - I was being slightly sarcastic about Denis...he's always been a tad unkempt but I thought the H20 reference might have something to do win Jaws' jug antics - NO, not the removal of his shirt! Grin

That reminds me of Ted Hankey a few years ago when he was asked how he was gonna celebrate a decent win (forgot who he beat) and prepare for the following day's match and he said with a straight face "I'm gonna have myself a nice salad, a couple of glasses of water and then I'll have an early night, and if you believe that you'll believe anything" Laugh

Was it Lori (he's been absent for a while) who called Adrian Lewis 'Bingo' from The Banana Splits?
That's my all-time favourite Grin

I still can't find this supposed Live Stream at the 364+10-9 lot btw, despite at least 2 Darting websites advising they're doing it.

It all seemed a bit to much for hope for given that Billy Mountains are sponsoring it. Maybe the streams are blocked to the UK because Sky are broadcasting it to the UK???

If some kind person would like to help an old man find it, I'll be grateful.

Sorry Al...I'm useless but someone ALWAYS pops up to help so be patient squire Happy

Just put tonight's bet on with £3.65;

John Part +2.5 maxes @4/5 (that's decent value)
Christian Kist to beat Klaasen @10/11
MVG most 180s v Cullen @8/15

and I've just got the first leg in @4/9 for just ONE goal
from half-time in some Egyptian football match Crazy

That works out a 13/2+ accumulator.

PS - I only put that team in as a booster and if it would've dipped
I still had time to put the darts treble on.

Evening Alun, hope you're well.

Did you see the darts doc on BBC4 t'other night? Great to see Alan Evans, what a legend! Bristow looked very wary of him in the short clip it showed of their interview.

Speaking of Colin Lloyd/H20/Jaws, he'll be missed at this tournament but the 'sequel' hasn't totally deserted us...

JAWS 2:
Just when you thought it was safe to go back on the oche...Keegan Brown opens the tournament.

I'll put my TV on mute and imagine I'm listening to the dual-noted bass cello 'symphony' when
he makes his entrance within the next 20 minutes Crazy

Yes Cosmo. Sadly I am old enough to remember that infamous Evans-Bristow match from '79 at Jollees. If memory serves me correctly, they both got fined for that interview afterwards. Never thought I'd see THAT again.
