Enjoy it KoD
![]() An interesting on set spat last night (well, a difference of opinion) between Mardle and Part when summarizing the first round matches. Mardle saying Lewis' level of play set the standard and was the best performance so far. Part followed in saying Taylor's was the best because he hit pressure doubles, whereas Lewis was never under pressure in his win...Back and forth they went. Mardle finished it by saying we'll agree to disagree. So who's impressed you the most? For me Part talks from a playing point of view and Mardle from a punters. I could be wrong, just my opinion. I'm more in tune with Part's way of thinking on the oche. Lets not forget that Sky flew the big Canadian in for his views and insight on the game. KJP is one of the best comms- A fantastic addition to the team. Day 4 - Second Round - Best of 25 Legs (see my previous post...ie sudden death leg info etc) Hamilton v Chisnall: Even though the hammer's been a bit of the pace I love nothing more than players with dogged determination. Andy has it in spades and i'm more than hopeful he'll produce the goods and cop the 180's spread. Chisnall...Sometimes very good, sometimes very poor. Onto the next match. I'd love to see a market for the player to have the best checkout %. Wade v Burnett: How can i possibly choose between these two? Burnett is one of my all time favourite players (as mentioned many times in posts dedicated to the great Welshman). Wade is simply a "left handed" thing. (You'll get it if you're also a lefty). He also carries my Tourney loot. For all his good attributes, there's a well documented dark side. He's a devil of a player to work out, but when he's on his game, he's really on. A cocky sort like Bristow before him. I take him as i find him and keep council if and when these types are in the vicinity. The Draw for player with most 180's market is over priced and worth a small investment. A perfect excuse for sitting on the fence! Van Gerwen v White: Both are big scorers and big finishers on their day. The spread margin only requires one treble in the combination finish, which is a lot more than a possibility - a very tasty prospect. Whitlock v Barneveld: Barney has somewhat of a stranglehold (cue a song) I know it's a betting forum, but nowt wrong with a bit of nostalgia thrown in the mix. From 1979 Charlie Harper and the boys: UK SUBS - Stranglehold http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0VEFalOnyQ Back to Barney's stranglehold on Whitlock...Last 6 times on the box he's turned over the Wizard. Bookies have rvb as a firm fav, but the market that takes my eye is "Total Legs." Both players winning 9 legs is more than doable. I'm also on "Total Legs" all 4 matches. Short n sweet and even got a punk legend thrown into the mix! Total Hamilton 180's - OVER 4.5 @ 3/5 bw 1pt Wade v Burnett - Most 180's - DRAW @ 7/1 youwin 1pt mvg v white - Highest Checkout 126 and Over @ 8/11 spo 2pts whitlock v rvb: Total Legs - OVER 21.5 @ 5/6 888 2pts Hamilton v Chisnall - OVER 21.5 @ 8/11 win (9 legs each) Wade v Burnett - OVER 20.5 @ 4/5 (win 8 legs each) mvg v white - OVER 20.5 @ 5/6 (win 8 legs each) whitlock v rvb: Total Legs - OVER 21.5 @ 4/5 (win 9 legs each) TOTAL LEGS Acca @ 10.26 sly 1pt - 4x 1pt trebles (4pts) Good luck fellow darts lovers. "May your gods be with you" ![]() I'm about as religious as the Manics but i do love the quote. |
