Oshea for me. Can see Waites faltering on the doubles under this pressure. Oshea was clutch yeterday.

Nothing against Scott Waites as I think he's a fabulous player who'd grace the Premier League but a message for Zeus & Hera (the gods from Jason & The Argonauts that seem to 'influence' my life) give the likes of me & Tony O'Shea a break and by hook or by crook, let him win this match!
I think Tony's been playing better than Scott (as he's been a tad disappointing in far easier matches) though I suspect he'll find his rhythm against The Silverback and things might be tough for O'Shea - despite his long losing record, I don't think O'Shea's a choker like many professional losers and if it's a level match approaching the latter stages at something like five apiece, the 'improvement' in Tony's fitness might come to his rescue as he wasn't tiring against Harms yesterday. I'm hoping for the best so come on Silverback! ![]() |

Only two hours to go and the best 3 weeks of darts in the season is over ... I'm going all in on Waites, just can't see him losing, maybe he will be off to the PDC if he wins the title ???

No sentiments from me. Another match too far for 51 yeal old O'shea in what i see as a one sided final. O'shea to win 4 sets at best.

Gonna have to wait for the Arsenal v Man City match to finish before the markets come to life in the darts

I'm looking at getting on Silverback with a view to trading a decent stake.
When do we hear who has the darts in the first set? |

I haven't watched a lot of the BDO as always thought it was the poor relation to the PDC. I think it is poorer, in depth, but I've been really impressed with the whole tournament and there have been some cracking matches. I've also been really impressed with O'Shea, he seems to have that extra fight and determination that I've not seen from him before, so on that basis I've layed Waites as I think he's too short. Have also enjoyed the forum again, a really decent bunch of guys with some decent opinions and a good crack. Good luck all.

happyhibbie sny opinion on the most 180's market?
|
|
By:
Not really waites is very streaky and think it all depends on how the scoreline goes
|
|
By:
head says Waites , heart says Silverback ... can't see any mistake in the markets ...total maxes was my most successful market these past few weeks , but can't see value here in that one , will depend if it goes the distance , no bet for me pre match , maybe have a nibble in running , hope its a good high scoring match , good luck everyone ...

One massive bet for me in the final:
Tony O'Shea 3-dart average: Over 90.6 5/6 PP - very surprised the over/under on O'Shea's average is 90.6 seeing as he's average 94.5 or higher in q/final and semi, think over 90.6 is a must bet at 5/6. Other bets: PP also go Waites 3-dart average at over 91.1 @ 5/6, which also looks a good bet. Spoils go 11/10 O'Shea to hit highest checkout, after 6 ton plus outs against Harms including a 160, this looks a bet. |

Abolutely great to see ROB has brought out OLD TRUSTY for the final.
No finer sight in sports. |
|
By:
Waites can lose leg after leg and then win leg after leg ala his final win over Wade in GSOD.
If he starts well he wins. If he does not it will be tight and a flip of the coin. |

By:
What station is the final on?!

ffs, he has started punching his chest already
