FFS Barney. Shocking attitude. Hope he loses now.

That said, can't face watching another Dolan match.

Anderson doesnt mind it but think its because he used to practice (and may still do) with Justin Pipe

Dolan should be thrown out after missing the 19 altogether

Dolan missed a trick here awful attempt at 81 but fair play to Barney hitting the max after Dolan had

no he is not but he is one of the slower players,i just feel the best matchs are when players who play at a similar speeds meet in general.dolan v pipe might be a classic in its own way as they are well matched, then again as viewing spectacle maybe not.

Definitely think hes slower than normal today he's definitely trying to put Barneveld out of his rhythm

I think blaming a slower opponent is a sign of weak mental strength. Seems like an easy excuse. A player throws exactly the same way, i don't see why waiting a few more seconds for your throw can make that much difference.

Players earn a fortune, so adapting to a variety of oppponents should be easy enough. i thought they were supposed to be professionals.

MC / HH - totally wrong - if you played a lot of darts you would understand playing the likes of a Dolan / Pipe etc does affect your game.  I've done it myself.  (played the very slow players and you lose part of your flowing game)

same as any one on one sport sometimes an opponent will be fast sometimes slow the best players adapt to it

of course the pace of a player can effect the other player...but they are professionals and should learn to get the job done regardless of conditions.
I get tough jobs all the time at work...so what...thats what I am trained to do.

Barney is mentally soft, in this case talking about slow play affecting him is irrelevant as he just sulked his way through the match anyway

Why's it always the slow players who are used as an excuse for losing or not playing as well? I'm sure it works both ways and that a fast player can disrupt and speed up a slow player.

if slowing up a quick player does not work, why would crafty old pro's like peter manley, merv king and a few more of that ilk bothered in the past to do it on purpose,as a tactic as they thought it would give them a better chance of winning against certain players.

I must follow the wrong people on Twitter, don't have many aftertimers, although I do choose vaguely carefully and have blocked a couple of morons.
