kjp is in no immediate danger of dropping out the top 32, but in no danger of getting back in the top 16, given how the 'rankings' are on prize money (a ranking system that is completely stupid but thats by the by)

MVG is great, no doubt. But I never feel comfy with him. I think he can catch punters out easily. Will look dominant for a while, then out of nowhere, when it's completely unexpected, he will play the most godawful game of darts imaginable.
treble - I'm with you on that one...it's hard to forget most of his normal/moderate form over the last five years!
I think the pace of the game will suit both of them (Waites should not be underestimated as he thrives on such games) and MVG isn't exactly as consistent as Taylor, so you never know with him.
I hate to agree with Rod Harrington, but the advice he gave about Waites in the outright market is reasoned thinking.

Wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised to see Barney revert to type tomorrow...especially as he'll be up against 'big-balls' Andy Hamilton who could grind him down with his power finishing.
As good as Barney was then, I though Kist really dug in and would be a grand addition to the PDC - he's played better here than he did at Lakeside.

He does show a lot of tenacity and for a relative newcomer who's still young, that augurs well for Kist...been very impressed with him.

Admitted that he got tired too, wouldn't bode well for a long semi and final.

I've been watching darts a long time but its really good to see someone fulfil his promise of 7 years ago. I remember when ITFC first alerted people to this guys ability
waites has played ok, but i'll bet he's a bit disappointed with his performance, especially the 15th leg

Someone made a valid point the other night that may or may not be a factor. His game has suddenly went thru the roof since Klaasen left the tour. whether thats the reason who knows
if there were steroids in darts people would be suspicous!

Oh dear Bhoys, how much were you down?. I had a lucky escape, also layed manure with an exposure of about £200 but got out at half time for a £5 loss. Had a funny day actually, won a few and lost a few so about even overall.
That was some performance from MVG and Waites wasn't THAT far behind - all credit to both.

Ouch that hurts. Yes I meant Norwich, layed at 6.8 and got out at 6.4 as I didn't like the way they were playing. Should have learnt from last week when they went 2-0 down to Villa. Chin up mate you'll get it back but don't chase.
I hope he wins as I think it would be a better final Silver. As solid as Hamilton is I honestly think MVG would blow him away
16-1 head to head suggests Barney has a chance!
