More hilarity from Akash after his 2 reviews on being given out both times!
By:
Well that was entertaining . Hoped he could have biffed a quick 30
India should have a thrash here |
By:
Gut feeling tells me i've greened at the right time here and i'm staying out of this one now , proper 3 way outcome and will be a good while before it becomes a two way stretch aside from an England collapse.
Draw = Week away with the wife India = 2 nights at St George's in Harrogate. England = Tesco trifle from the reduced counter. Sit back and hope for an exhilarating couple of days to keep WD happy ![]() |

i bet Ducky & Creepy are pissed

I greened too but bigger on India and draw. Half that on England who are now under the microscope
By:
It does seem to be swinging* now. Maybe because of heat and humidity
By:
Only the 9th time in history both teams have scored exactly the same after 1st inns
By:
With India batting last, it's notable that India and England are ~same price.
England were significantly shorter than India before the match... |
By:
*England now actually a few ticks longer.
Maybe doubts around Stokes & Bashir, otherwise it makes little sense... |
By:
The risk is in England. New ball so potential wickets
By:
Gill should be crowding the bat and even having one or two in front close
By:
Pitch looks very easy still
By:
Jasprit Bumrah is the only bowler in Test history to have taken 200+ wickets and average under 20.
(He's also the only bowler with 100+ wickets to achieve this - since 1914!) |

great stuff

'Have some ****g balls' that's what Gill said to Crawley with gestures too

Brilliant Test Cricket!
What a day |
By:
tms said umpires are weak etc, but im asking a serious ? what could the umpires actually do .
By:
3 test windies v aus starting in 50 mins
By:
TMS have been saying the umpires are too weak all match elis, they are mainly referring to the constant ball changing and delays.
Its the main reason for the dreadful over rate. They need more power to tell the players to get on with it, including levying penalties of some sort. |

Just saying! |
By:
so whispering tbh, the umpires really have no power on the field , perhaps with over rate , reduce it to 85 and start at 10or 10.30 and unless weather , then 85 overs has to be bowled even if its 9.00 at night

The draw feels super super short to me now
By:
I'm backing under 340 runs Eng 2nd inns
By:
Bad review
By:
Yes really hard to enforce rules without any sort of penalty
Any penalty brings complaint of not being cricket Sometimes we hav3 to let things go. This has been absorbing so I have no5 been one of the complainants. I5 would be ironic if either or both sides run out of overs tomorrow |
By:
I think u340 is a good call but let’s see where we are after an hour

I want to see a little more class than this from India.
Duckett looked spooked by the bounce. Dumb batting. The pitch may well settle down. Gill needs to crowd Pope but defend the long boundaries |
By:
This is great
Over rates……. Am I bovvered? |
By:
Regardless of the runs he makes in an innings, Crawley is a busted flush.
I had faith for a long time (courtesy of witnessing his 250 v Pakistan) but now feels like he just wings it every time |
By:
Agreed.
It is jus5 not Test match technique. Flat track bully. Tall man refusing to play forward to length balls atm |
By:
I would not have reviewed!
Gill should not have reviewed, weak Captaincy. Enough doubt not to review. Brilliant review! Batsmen jus5 do not move their feet. Pope trapped on the crease. |
By:
Exchange did not think it was out either, even after hitting pad on replay!
Looked high. |
