Gonna be quite the India price if they reach 20-0

India could be evens very soon!

Really should have cleared SA at 6

Whatever happens here - SA really need to look at their selection.

Maharaj's inclusion looks very ropey, given their usage of him.

Especially with the recent history at each of these grounds...

Take your pick but either 1.5 at beginning, or 1.87 at 21-0 after 4.1, is incorrect.

think SA got the memo about early intent at least...

The ball is hard and will travel. Sometimes a bit of lacquer off the ball helps. Far too early to panic. Looking fir a top up at evens

India should not be double the price of 0-0, at 29-0. Simple.

The danger is once a batsman is in! India though are a very patient side. Wickets in clumps are important. Markram looking confident but Elgar scares me. Silently letting Markram absorb the strike while he gets his eye in!

India bowling full to get the most from new ball. Runs will flow but things will settle down a little and pitch will become uneven with the odd ball keeping low!

That one went through the top as well!

Another 10%!

It's like the early days Betfair (for me at least, 2005).

Team gets inserted under clouds on a green pitch, they reach 17-0 after 7overs, two edges through slips, ball singing.

...And you could back the toss-winning, bowling side at 2.92 instead of 2.08.

I am quite relaxed, just waiting to lay SA Happy

The 2.08 to 2.92 was first morning of a Test, too - not later stages when price movements have to be greater.

did you used to post on here apt' under a different name ? (if that's not classified)
By:

I did not.

I ditched trading altogether when I switched rentals in late 2006 and the pesky building owners wouldn't let me put up a Sky dish. Poker took over my life/income for ten years.

Came back when we were expecting my daughter in 2017 (and I knew the much-changed, far less lucrative, far less enjoyable, poker world would not be possible for me any longer).

I was primarily tennis back in the day - but The Ashes 2005 was good to me.

So bored of it but had made my bed, somewhat.

In hindsight, I should've resumed this back around 2012 but hey ho, I'm here now and it currently suit me ok.

Tennis was a money printer, it was so naive back then.

When I decided to come back, I went straight to tennis to see if I could do my thing and it was, within ten minutes, clear I could not.

Markets are run by algorithms, and it's far too efficient. Totally impossible to operate in the way I used to. Far too few variables, and both outcomes of each point are known in advance etc

The old adage of if I knew then what I know now so in-play with my 'jobs' but truth is...

I never had even a jot of forethought, nor much motivation, until I had a child.
