Rubbish!

What are you actually complying about? The fact you feel you cannot say the word P.a.k.i?

Get a life.

Complaining?

No, the fact that rules are arbitrarily being created by minorities that everyone else has to abide by.

Just as the whole world has to accomodate the wishes of a man thinking they are women and vice versa.

The word 'Pakistan' is actually an acronym invented in 1933.
So at what point did the first four letters become vitriolic if it wasnt the association used with following nouns as a detriment then?

Richard Dawkins wrote in the 'God Delusion' that you can accurately determine the words used by the published dates of books.

That is extended by the fact each generation has a gripe with a differing immigrant.
I remember the baby boomer generation used to use the term 'w og', you never hear that now and I dont think I have ever used it.
It obv refers to the issue in their day of West Indian immigration.
By the time my Gen-X came of age that had burned out and the issue was about South Asian immigration.
What I'm seeing in this case is a lot of claim of 'instiutional rascism' that needs firming up with historical accounts like a 10 year old deleted twitter comment. For me it all looks like the closing of the stable door after the horse has bolted.

Gen-X players retire and the specific problem largly moves on.
I saw an almost 10min speach by the government lastnight in the HoC that was very superficial.
People dont change they just die out.
The appologists dont see it, but Brexit was the most fractured political statement the public have made in a generation. Much of it was disgruntled EU quotas and Polish immigration being the target.

So the Millennials think they are inclusive?
Lets wait and see who the next people they turn their focus on....until you have seen a third gen British born Pakistani with a broad Yorkshire accent complain about Romanian immigration in their local area then you simply do not grasp the situation.
Its gone full circle.

BBC news just now trying to drag Joe Root into it now ,he said he never saw any examples of such behaviour when at Yorkshire ,so Rafiq tweets his disappointment ,maybe he didnt .
By:

As you said Root has made his statement, but Rafiq is allowed to effectively call him a liar. Nobody questions Rafiq about his reaction. It is just one way traffic.

Poor Joe.  He's now become "part of the problem", just as we all have on here who question the validity and accuracy of what has been reported.  If you don't fall I line with any of these type of allegations "you are part of the problem".  "Silence is violence" - all that crap.  The standard question arises for me with historical allegations like this and that is "Why The Wait" to report it/them?

By:

When: 11 Nov 21 22:18
Rafiq was so traumatised by his time at Yorkshire he spent 10 years there ,including leaving then going back ,and experienced such prejudice he was made the captain ..... yet we cannot question his version of events .Has he recieved a cash payout yet ?

Thanks for your input Whispering. I'm sure the majority of sane people on the cricket forum will disregard your comments as well as your cricket knowledge and forecasting ability. Go and replenish your funds on betfair as you must have lost another shedload with your latest bullshit tipping on the T20. What you know about cricket you could put on a pinhead. So is the current England cricket captain and ex captain a racist? Please enlighten us all.

I hope that next week the select committee actually start by asking why he was there 10 years? It is an obvious question, and given what he has claimed will take some answering. This should not just be an open goal for him to throw some more mud.

Joe Root is no more a racist than Martin Luther King nor is Michael Vaughan. Is Prince Harry a racist for calling his army colleague a P+ki and a raghead and is then upheld as a beacon for minorities and virtue. The left has infected and is trying to infect every walk of life where people of an opposite view are afraid to speak. Thank god these ideals are rejected time and time again by people of the UK who are the most tolerant people I have ever come across and who thank god can come to a sensible conclusion.Holding people to account of what may or not have been said 20-30 years ago is beyond the pale.

WD
The bbc reporter just said Rafiq first brought up the allegations only 3 years ago internally.

Certainly will be interesting to see the interviews on the 16th.
I expect a lot of harrumphing from reporters as it progresses…but the government can say nothing.
Until people understand this government has used a method of ‘do as we say’ techniques repetitively to by-pass democracy via ignoring independent reviews, most particularly the alleged bullying by Priti Patel of colleagues then they simply are not seeing the bigger picture.

If every word is to be scrutinised made by anyone, then surely the duplicitous act of talking in Urdu when in the company of others has to be banned.
Any of the wishywashy gang disagree?

Oh Dusty

You are making yourself look a hopeless fool.

If you want to display your racist bent please do and get banned but why hide? You are pathetic! Making excuses all the time.

Rashid just nailed Vaughan to the cross, get over it!

Nice analogy right? Nailed to the cross!

and get a life Dusty! Sad and desperate. There is so much beauty in the World and you choose to display your ugliness on a cricket forum. I am sorry for your loss.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Just because a person is born away from the equator and has pink skin due to lack of a strong midday sun does not instantly make his or her opinions invalid or racist

This is a pathetic massive cancel culture witch hunt. It has to stop

Yes very brave of him. What goes on in the dressing room usually stays in the dressing room. This needed to come out. I think a lot of it is ignorance as opposed to racism and also bullying is not necessarily about racism but racism is used by people as a weapon to bullly.

Clear failure of management at Yorkshire.

What I dont understand is why when rafiq said ballance ‘got stuff’(as an outsider coming from Derby) didnt anyone draw the conclusion that ‘outsiders’ or ‘different’ always get targeted?

I know people today who still get abuse, a mate who gets called ‘trigger’ because of his big nose etc
