during that 5 years though WD he couldn't score a run at one point !

Malan would be my answer Angoose and I'd slot him in at three if Root insists on four.

I got him at 3 too and perhaps Crawley to open in Aus with Hameed. I have a feeling about Crawley. Yes he has problems but Aus might suit his game. Big games, braggadocio, see off the new ball and clatter dem Aussies

@WD - Here's an idea for you then so you don't have to splash out on a "lady of negotiable virtue" behind Mrs Death's back - go and see a hypnotist and get them to give you a trigger word that makes you imagine 'er indoors has the look and feel of a 20-year old. Money well spent if it works.

Dude I am 58! Been there and done it!

Many a time have I gone to bed with Marylin Monroe and woken up with Miss Piggy! I don't need to pay no Shrink!

Just talkin' out loud. Mrs 'Death keeps me more than happyWink!

Also never paid for it except the odd martini and lemonade and if they were playing hard to get a kebab!

Laugh

None as blind as those who cannot see!

Hammed is a must as is Malan or even Vince at 3. I would take a punt on Crawley in Aus.

If our 1,2 and 3 ever get picked again I promise I am stopping watching the English Test Team. Its a "Test" of the highest order watching them.

Well that was a painful watch.

Bairstow just looked utterly fed up throughout and would far rather be playing a game where its acceptable to try to mow one over mid wicket.

if root goes in first 5 overs after tea its game over. India's tail batting completely showing up our top order here. The wicket isn't a minefield by any stretch

Eng tho now in dire straits should still be able to save this if they were any good but i wouldn't have too much hope

tho' i just have a feeling they may just do it..on verra..weather could yet intervene to help their cause

Hi chaps.

In a roundabout way its probably a good job we couldn't bowl out their tailenders. If we had the match would probably be over by now

I have a vision of England nine wickets down with one ball to survive.

Jadeja flights one up outside off stump, Moeen comes dancing down the pitch, heaves and misses, stumped.
