2 more days to get India out twice and one day to sit in the sun?

If they can't score any quicker than they are at the moment, a dec. makes sense.

yeah just seems pointless from England atm, they're taking time out of the game when they have the best chance of winning

Openers can have a good rest and be fresh for batting tomorrow morning

England still have the scars from the last time they played India here I think

Firmly on the draw! We aren't taking 20 wickets here (will change my mind if the pitch suddenly explodes tho)

Maybe but this is a different team and pitch.

The signs of bounce are there already, reverse and England have some gas. I want to see how Archer’s Yorkers go on this

I have jumped on the draw lay, perhaps a little prematurely 1.74 average but there are 3 whole day left. Patience required now

draw will go much shorter

when India come out to bat and the market sees how flat the pitch is still, that draw price will plunge

Mind you if an England number 10 can come down the pitch to an Indian spinner in India then maybe you know more than me Tom!

I think you are right but it is a knife edge call. One or two early wickets and it is a different game but yes maybe I should have waited

The form we’re in I honestly think 3.0 England is an absolute gift but the market doesn’t see it the same way. We’ll see who is right soon enough I guess. Off the back of an intense tour of Oz and 2 and a bit days in the field, I think these are under severe pressure and the cracks are beginning to show. Rohit, Pujara, Kohli and Rahane are supreme batsmen of course but get 2 or 3 of them cheaply and it will expose their lower middle order and long tail, in my opinion. Set up nicely for an exciting few days either way.

Nailed on draw. No way England bowl India out twice on this pitch

Games like this can move very quickly by day 4. England will continue to bat tomorrow morning and will probably want at the very least 6 wickets by close of play, any more and England will be in a great position. If England can be 200 in front with India all out by lunch on Day 4 England will try and smash 40 quick overs leaving plenty of time to get India out on the final 4 sessions.
3.0 looks massive to me.

3 looks huge in this type of game. I don’t think’ you will find England seamers bowling as short as the Aussies.

Tom might be right in that the draw may well tumble but the price is on a precipice. Two quick wickets and you will be behind the 8.

Makes more sense I think’ to take the England price now accepting it can possibly go out if England bat on and there is no early wicket with the new ball. You would then get the benefit of a further top up opportunity.

I guess England backers are betting on the effect of the roller wearing off in the afternoon. Things may change quickly then but you have got your price.

Waiting to lay the draw is fraught with potential missed opportunities. How low can it go?

Regardless it could be quite exciting if you have a shilling on it

If they're all out  & 200 behind, I'd be enforcing the follow on. I think it'll be touch and go whether there's already too much time been taken out of the game with Sibley's slow progress and so we might need all the overs we can get in order to bowl them out twice.
It's a big ask for the bowlers in these conditions however and doesn't seem to be the done thing these days, so that brings the draw back into play I guess. I still fancy us quite strongly, but the market feels like it has been strongly opposing us all game.

The market isn’t always right and when it’s not it is the chance to make big money.............or lose it!

This is the type of situation I roll the dice. I guess that is why I am not a rich merchant banker!

Hard to predict what type of response India provide. I really think England will get the ball to reverse more than India. I want to see an Archer yorker  at 145 clicks! Leg stump of course!

That's true. The problem is if the market's right and I'm wrong, it could get messy!

I agree we may well get more out of the pitch and with the ball than they did, and they're quite capable of throwing in a collapse as they did in Oz, I think if we apply enough pressure cracks might appear. Rahane the key wicket imo.

I do feel confident about us in general, but also think Archer's contribution could be crucial and I'm less confident with him. Which Archer decides to turn up may decide which way it goes...

Yup!

It is hard to be patient when 2-1 is available to a side side on 558 in India

I am going to try and be patient and hold th3 las5 of my funds back. I am green India now so will just do the straight England back as India cannot win this. This is not a 300 run Karun Nair wicket mind you Bess looks completely at ease so am waiting.

Th3 heavy roller will neuter the pitch fir a while. Let’s see how Leach copes with Bumrah and Ashwin

Very defensive Ind not taking the new ball.
I’ll be neutral once Ind start to bat, no point in guessing, may as well see what happens, I think there’ll be ample opportunities to back Eng later in the game should a victory look likely.

Yep you might have a point there.

The pitch will b3 rolled again too. It Ashley looks ok so there migh5 well b3 runs for India for a while but I have a gut feeling this is not ending well fir India.

Gill will need to move his fee5 against the England seamers. The pitch should favour a Rohit special. His battle with the Archer will be exciting all series
