Plenty of loose soil on the pitch off the bowlers spikes, with Curran bowling could be something for Bess to work with.

Michael Gough watching Currans follow through. He was comfortably the best umpire in the Windies series but surely this day and age the third umpire could do that job and communicate with the standing ump

Shame as I wanted to see an over from Bess. Looks a good pitch imho. I am on Pakistan atm. It was due to rain briefly during lunch so this is most fortuitous.
I have also taken a punt on over 302.5. I appreciate it might swing more after tea but with a couple of set batsmen and Babar to come it looks like a cheeky little earner again imho. This is a good pitch. Engerland do not have a fast bowler to mix it up. Playing fast medium looks well comfortable just depends on the humidity I guess. |

Should be 60 odd for 3. I have moved over to Guerilla Cricket from TMS. No idea who these guys are but they are more entertaining than TMS. Anyone else listen to them if they aren't sitting in front of their TVs.

Well this is going to hurt me quite a bit if England can’t be bothered to catch easy chances and bowl Pakistan out. Still, good chance they’ll collapse themselves if necessary.

Imran Khan on TMS. Excellent stuff

sorry Sky.

Nice feature on Shoaib Akhtar on TMS, what a character the Rawalpindi Express is. Shame I wasn't following cricket when he was active.

Excellent intelligent cricketers both these guys.

Rawalpindi could have been an Aussie he was so arrogant!
Loved that about him though. he hit one of his own players with a cricket bat once ( probably more than once! ) |

There was a piece on sboaib akhtar a few days ago. Saw clips of a spell against NZ. Pretty amazing sight fast Yorkers. And another spell against aus in Sharjah I believe.

i can remember shoaib finding predigous swing frorm nowhere

I first remember Imran in the John Player League. My God he was bowling fast and swinging the game towards Worcester but Chris Tavare hit one back at him so hard it did his fingers, he came off and Kent won the game.
