Hard if you don't get early wickets after enforcing the f/o
|
|
By:
It’s jucel! Hey man, how are you?
Yes, need early wickets enforcing a follow on but they do have 5 bowlers, none of whom have had too much work recently other than yesterday, so should be okay to chip away. Still a good track though and our spinner isn’t great. I’ve managed to back the draw extensively this morning at stupidly low prices initially, thinking the big band of cloud might give us a shower in the first half hour of play. Then I extracted a few quid each time with a bunch of further backs over 3s and rapid lay offs. It’s sort of been a success and was from a solid position prior so can’t complain but does feel like hard work for limited return. |

Surely this draw price is still attractive given that the openers are seeing off the new ball and the forecast, both later today and tomorrow, or am I missing something?

Can I gte my Foakes rant in yet or does Butler need to drop a couple more before it would be polite as to why he has the gloves?

Good FS, hoping you are making plenty!
This is going to be a grind for England now, unless a few envelopes have exchanged hands |

Sorry, the draw is under 1.8 suddenly? Time for a£500 lay using about a third of my remaining draw green. I can’t see a draw train from here very often. I mean, it might end up drawn but a train feels unlikely.
Got £250 back on at a jump from 1.76 to 1.84. |

Favourites flipped flopped pretty quick there, just after the drinks break. And not just by a few ticks either. Some of you must be backing and laying ball by ball!!

Don’t think showers today likely to change the game, although they may well affect prices. If Pak bat well, the thing that matters is how much play we see tomorrow, which could easily be none but might well be 40 odd overs if they’re needed. Just hoping the trading remains good.

Going to get a shower but can just take an early lunch, market massively overreacting here!
