India at 6.4-6.6 despite being 183 behind? I mean, obviously I can conceive of scenarios in which they win but this track isn’t going to play beautifully for the rest of today and tomorrow then become a minefield on day 5. Trying to lay my tiny India green into quite a bit of red and see but that’s stupid value, really. Protects my position a bit too as the draw will have to be miles in before India can shorten that much.
By:
Also worth bearing in mind that batting really, really well could see India struggling to leave themselves enough time. They’d have the best chance of winning bowling at 300 with all of day 5 to come but might set 325 in 80 overs instead, say.
By:
You could credit the India price if they were obviously a far superior side that had just utterly screwed up the first innings, like England against Ireland and presumably that’s what the market somewhat believes but Kiwi losses at home are collectors’ items. Just don’t see India winning once in 10 from here.
By:
Draw price on an irritating wander too. Will lose a bit of money to a NZ train now, although not much.

Shaw is not rock solid, he likes to feel bat on ball.

A few innocuous overs and draw must make a swift move south.

Five off the first over and India under 6s. Should so have waited to lay!

By:
If I hit all my draw lays (set a couple more up in the 4s) I will go to 45 pence green India!
By:
India price moving like they’re scoring at T20 rates, draw pretty static!

This is the exact scenario where nz would miss Neil Wagner the most. Pitch not doing anything. That's when he manages to find a way
NZ a lay for mine now, given past history at this ground (against weaker opposition than India), their price is very very low |
By:
And the draw price should be lower than Indias price surely
![]() |
By:
Is the market completely unaware of the history at this ground!? I mean if bangladesh, sri lanka and the pakis can get huge scores here, then why can't India. Reckon India could bat till end of day 6 if they apply themselves properly. And don't waste wickets with runouts

Day 5 I meant tho if there were 6 days that would be possible too
