I was watching some rugby the other day and a female comm came on. They even have them in a sport like Rugby now. That was the first time I properly felt disgusted by a female comm. But I thought i'll continue watching as it was only a few mins of footage.

However.

A player passes the ball to another on his right who doesn't see it coming and gets hit on the face. The comm goes 'Awww you don't do that to your own teammate...but he sees the funny side of it'

That was such a turn off for me. Scarred.

Their style of commentary just doesn't go with a physical sport like that.

micah richards few weeks back, when man utd missed a penalty, when rashford and prog were arguing who should take it, richards, "every team should have 2 first choice penalty takers when youre on the pitch", at least savage argued the point with him

I've been amazed at how much I've found myself agreeing with KP in this match.  And some really insightful stuff.

I think he'd make a woeful coach though. His manner of expressing himself is such a weird combination of condescending and smarmy that I'm convinced would persuade the players to try the exact opposite of what he suggests just to spite him.

I have compelling evidence that Joe Denly is the greatest Test batsman.

% of innings in which batsman reaches double figures
Denly 86.96
Labuschagne 86.36
Bradman 82.50
Gower 78.92
Smith 77.86
Cook 76.98
Gooch 75.81
Kohli 75.18
Pietersen 74.59
Williamson 72.26
