Thoughts on the Australia game?
if Pakistan survive the new ball can see the draw dropping but that's a big if.. |
|
By:
that was a brilliant catch
|
|
By:
replay shows pad then maybe glove than catch
|
|

What a shambles we are. Now lets see if the great batsmen Root and Stokes can save it. I doubt it. Probably be over by lunch.

Still NO way Eng lose on this

By:
jesus, 3 wickets down, classic mugland

By:
England to lose by midnight ... the next collapse is always round the corner unfortunately
|
|
By:
Should still be pretty easy for Eng to draw this. 207 runs behind so may not need to survive all 90 overs. At the same time, a tricky equation that as going for runs might make them throw away their wicket.
Still can't believe the stupidity shown by Stokes and Pope on day 2. That's where Eng lost. |

had another grand at 2.74!
Still NO way Eng lose on this juce..that yaa baa dealer of urs is getting away with murder! ![]() |

if England manage to lose this test match from the position they were in after the first day on a ****g landing strip it really is a ****g disaster. If the new management team's target is to reach world number one they have a lot of hard ****g work to do.

Its all about the mindset of the batsmen, the first day was really encouraging , they got themselves into a good position by grinding it out but then on the second morning they resorted back to type. I really want to back the draw here, this pitch is as flat as you would ever want to save a test match but i just dont trust the ****s to stop themselves throwing their wickets away.
|
|
By:
It is about the mindset of the batsment. Maybe a good nights rest will have re-energised them and maybe they will not have brain farts like last night. This pitch is playing very well still and someone should be able to step up and grind out a hard fought 100. But will they?

Draw just moved in to 2.40. Wonder what brought that on.

I have a fairly nice green on thed raw and its still well in the money. So I need to convince myself not to lay off too early or lay off now. Tough one this one. Can I wait for a few overs to see how and what they do or is that too late. Decisions decisions.
|
|
By:
effectively 2 down on a flat deck 3 sessions to survive
IF you trust the english batting then the draw is mahoosive...but I don't |
|
By:
If it was NZ in the same position I would be backing the draw down to 1.7 or thereabouts. But I do not think England can nut it out as well. Hope I am proved wrong today.

And Broad is gone, England have a lead of 78 with 11 overs left in the day...

Rahm won. Fleetwood second.
Why doesn't Fleetwood win? Everytime I see him he'follows a bad round with a really good one and as soon as he gets close to the lead he chokes. |
|
By:
2nd new ball will probably do the job for NZ (if they haven't done it before).
