Thanks once again BJ for your stickability and not giving your wicket away. I think has to be the best wicketkeeper going around in test cricket today. He shows how its done properly. Ross, Raval eat your heart out.

Any demons in the pitch yet?
Seems to me as long as you don't throw your wicket away you can survive for very long. Assuming NZ keep batting long and later declare with a lead of 270-300, Eng will need to bat about 3.5 sessions to avoid defeat. Assuming Eng only concede a 100 run lead, they will still need to bat about 3.5-4 sessions to take the game to safety. Should be easy. But do they have the brains for it? |
By:
I feel draw is to big. Maybe by the time play starts on day 4 it has shortened to 2.2.
By:
still fully on draw 4.9 but i do not trust England to bat 110 overs, they look totally disjointed and the deck will surely start to give some come the afternoon, also Denly and Root moving up will not help..have a lay just above evens to green but i am undecided just now.....
By:
poor pitch difficult to get people out and hard to score quickly without taking risks
england still picking the wrong side for away tests. they are a proper bowler short. stokes and curran are both 4th seamers |
By:
I'm asleep when this goes on and don't like betting when I can't see what's happening but I've gone for a punt on England at 19 as I'm never keen on the team batting last.
By:
I have backed them from 7 to 15 but only 5 euro bets each. Don't see the market fancying them much as its NZ's game to maneuver not England's. Eng will just be playing for survival when they do get to bat.
By:
Do they roll the pitch again before play starts? Or just at change of innings?
By:
I think the batting captain can decide whether they roll the pitch or not.
