Bugger just realised I backed 125 runs and over for $2,000 at 1.01 when the score was 75-1 and its not even at 125 yet. Might have to revise that strategy.

How can a pro sportsman wear glasses?
It defies logic and seriously affects your performance I played to a decent standard and batted in glasses a few times. You don't have peripheral vision and the problems with them misting is constant under a helmet It was very difficult |

England did very well for a change. They played Test Match in a Test Match. They should be roundly applauded for doing their job for once
!It wasn't easy at times to be fair but it also wasn't the most exacting ordeal they are likely to face. The extra pace of the Aussies or skill of the Indians may have destroyed them on that pitch. They rarely looked troubled by the swing. It is nice though when batsmen are not concerned about how many balls they have to face to score a run. Not only do they have all day, they have 5 days! It is called a Test Match for a reason. There should be a physical toll exacted. If NZ have to bowl another 40 or 50 overs they will feel it in the second innings and the second Test. Hard to say how this will pan out if the wicket remains fairly slow. Will the pitch deteriorate. Will England be able to get any reverse. Will it dry out because of the cross wind? I am more heavily weighted on the draw for now but want an equal position on England and the draw. I see no reason to lay off NZ as yet and even less of a reason if they are batting before lunch! I love this game Stan! |

Is Bairstow in competition with Buttler now? To pick a 21 year old Pope ahead of JB is quite a story, so perhaps it's Jos or Jonny??
Jonny - 6 tons 21 50s Ave 35 Jos -1 ton 16 50s Ave 34. Do they think Buttler will outperform Jonny long term? Seems like a punt to me. |

It would appear so but I would rather have Foakes!
I am glad YJB has been dropped not because I don't like him, I do and he is very good but because of the this is the way I play type of attitude. Last night we saw the type of application needed to play test Cricket. It may be too early to call on young Pope but I believe he will turn out to be a far superior batsman to bother YJB and Butler. Both need to reinvent themselves as serious batsmen. Foakes is so unlucky, what did he do wrong? A fine technical batsman who is what is needed in Test Cricket by England and also the best wicket keeper so why play Butler? Loo I love watching Stokes hammering it to all parts and is double in SA was something special but watching him bat recently and you can see what is required for Test Match cricket. I say again I think Pope is going to be around for a long time. He has it all. I am still not sure about the top 3. But they deserve their chance and I would like to have a look at Crawley too. |

Anyone here speak English? What does it mean when someone calls you a diamond in the rough?
Would it be considered a compliment? Google says: a person who is generally of good character but lacks manners, education, or style; a rough diamond I asked a client(Canadian) to provide a testimonial so I can put it on my 'What do my clients say about me' page and he said I was a diamond in the rough in terms of quality and communication(His project was completed successfully after a bumpy start but he was very happy with the result). |

Urban Dictionary:
Diamond in the rough A sexual act involving a married woman inserting a diamond ring in the ass. Your wife's ring doesn't shine quite the same way after she gave me the diamond in the rough last night. |
