Root just showing what a clueless clown he is

Drops Woakes and then doesn't bowl his replacement first change

So what was the point of Overton again ?

Australia are making 300+ here, even they can't screw this up

England are batting to save the series and take it down the 5th road

I thought Overton got picked for the Australia tour because he was quite tall and fast, now hes down low 80s!

Same with Finn though tom

He was quick and in the team as a "wicket taker", they tried to turn him into Glenn McGrath and totally ruined the lad

Why don't they leave alone? If you're picking them for pace and bounce then play to their f*cking strengths, don't go messing with their run up or trying to get them to bowl on a dime ffs

I mean Finn for example was in the team as a first change wicket taker, who they went to when they wanted a bit of unpredictability and pace, he took wickets and was still dropped

Its bound to have an effect on the lads confidence because he's done everything that was asked of him and still got dropped

They shouldnt have hit Smith. Now they have two batsmen they can't get out.

unfortunately things going the way many predicted re Overton and Woakes

Leech bowling before Overton was a feckin joke and pretty much sums up Root/Bayliss thinking

How do you think Overton would have felt?
