Roy just needs to go full ODI mode
No point in him staying around and occupying the crease |
By:
Occupying the crease for extended periods remains high on the list of requirements for test opening batsmen.
By:
Move him to 6 then?
Where he can come and smash it around against a tiring attack |

Flat pitch and weather threat a.m., I think that England will survive for Draw personally nice trade

Draw shortens

But why?

Flat pitch. Rain threat diminished

ALL WE KNOW THAT LONDON ARE GOING TO COLLAPSE TOMORROW

I've got a very nice green that I don't want to spoil but the draw always drops quickly on day 5 in the first 30 mins or so.
To counter that Roy looks absolutely clueless. Real risk or reward for that first part of the session. One thing for sure I won't be backing the draw sub 1.8, seen too many cataclysmic collapses on day 5. Will look to lay the draw sub 1.3 for interest(if we get there) and will look at back the draw at 4s and above. They are the ranges I'm looking at today. |

Just cant imagine England batting all day. Aus win for me.

By:
Both teams are good and bad enough to give us better prices during the day. A fast England start would be ideal as it will make it a three horse race again and might give us some juicy prices on Aus.
Aus win for me as the end result. Not backing at these prices though |

big swing from overnight prices from the thai to aus

i woke upto rain in the south but then looked at radar etc in Brum and went back to sleep
"It never rains in test matches in England anymore" spot on from juce watched for four days and had one bet (and that was a curse bet trying to get Smith out) good to see some big greens around here, from the ones i believe ![]() cant see England doing it now the weather has gone but we have a glimmer of hope, its the hope that kills...i have cancelled a 2pm appointment to show my blind faith... but i think i will be in the pub by then avoiding aussies HOPE |

Bigger swing on ENG odds wonder

i see draw at evens last night 9-10ish

If England post the same over rate as the ozzies did yesterday they win, simples. They are a big big price looking at the attacking players they have got. 150 for 0 at lunchtime would make it very interesting. Be like Boris and be optimistic

Daniel is first out of the post bag today: "Realistic England fan here, it will be all but over by lunch." |

eng were around 50s when I looked last night
By:
Eng traded at 70 last night and were 46 half an hour ago. Isn't that a bigger percentage swing?
By:
Probably 75 got matched too but I got matched at 70.
By:
in betting %s 70 into 46 is 0.75% ie not much of a move
2 to 2.36 is 7.5% |
By:
Yeah those percentages always confuse me.
By:
1/46 - 1/70 = 0.0075, then convert to a %, so 0.75%
the amounts involved to move a price from 70 to 46 are much smaller than the amounts required to push a price out from 2 to 2.36 (in a liquid market) |
By:
I must put ground rule in place for day 5 ...No more than 25% of green should be at risk on any trade today!
By:
What I would love is Roy to get going, scoring freely then the market might go nuts on Eng price.

agree CS,set your ground rules an put the chainsaw away!..all your hard work is done..this is the parade lap,and treat yourself with your winnings

Unlucky, CHOOMS and pommy bstaads. You had us 8 for 128 on day one (not "128 for 8 WICKEETS) and now will do well not to loose (sic). The Brum Scum who jeered the Smudger can bite the big one.
