I can remember that. That was some funny stuff. Funny thing is a mate of mine (known him since 1st year varsity) is a chief meteorologist at the met service. He does swear no funny stuff goes on.

It's been dry where I live (30 miles from the Basin to the north) for the last half hour or so. Even getting a lot lighter for what its worth.

Groundsman thought 1 hour to clear but I think that is being optimistic. That said, the memory bank does say that the Basin drains very well and clears up quicker than other NZ grounds.
