You are a legend.
what do you think about the outfield? |
By:
As i said yesterday i think it will be fine giving a few hours clear up !!
By:
but like everyone else waiting on the update
By:
PTTT - do you mean Titans v Warriors? Titans traded in size at 500 then won !! I counted at least 8 non-trivial crossings of evens.

Draw coming back in hard!

raining again (lightly) at my place in Karori .

So easy to get goosed by these weather-sensitive markets. At least in normal play it's a steady move in one direction with large sudden jerks the other way only normally due to wickets. Careful not to blow hard-earned green, if you have any. I'm teetering around scratch if I were to cash out now.
By:
no surface water to see
By:
raining heavier now
By:
Draw just going up and down at its leisure
By:
im small red the draw and happy to ride with it for now with decent green the other two

I need to pop to ASDA for milk but I daren't leave the screen.
If the draw is 1.8ish now whilst it's raining where will it go if the rain stops before too long? Nice if it stays ranging for a while. |
By:
think its more about the condition of the ground
By:
Well we're reliably told it drains well.

drizzle south of Wellington and the sun poking through in the north !!

The road outside the stadium looks wet as fk. And there are still puddles in one webcam that shows a part of the ground(though we already seen that in CS's twitter link above)
By:
The big band of rain to the NE that looked like it might curve over later now seems to be stationary and has somewhat dissipated since I looked at 6am (NZ time).
By:
you see if NZ win toss and bowl Bangas could be out in 50 overs !! thats the issue with draw backers because the price will moves so dramatically
By:
even if today was lost a three day result with clear weather would most liekly be 50/50 if NZ bowled first
By:
By:
You are right that the game might well be over in 3 days. But there is a lot of short term trading that can be done today, especially at the start of play today.
By:
Yes !! it cuts both ways depending where you are at
By:
I'd guess that NZ would fancy their chances bowling first, knowing their own climate and the risk of more rain. So it's probably down to what Bang might choose to do if they win the toss. Chance of NZ batting first could therefore be as low as 25%, maybe lower. What do you lot think?
By:
Bangers bowl first if they want to draw or win. It would also mean they bat last which as we know is the best thing to do in test cricket in NZ.
So I don't see how they will be choosing to bat first. |

New draw plunge

GREEENNN!!!

well I am just back from tennis, it has been cancelled because it was persisting down. I got there and was so surprised to see the draw at 1.83 I put a lump on. Am home now and see its 1.52. Strange
