My green swelled up to 200 at stumps. Hopefully some fear of rain brings the drow down further.
Hate accuweather. Never understand their layout and how to judge the rain chances from their site. Met office the best in that regard. |

When Root fell I was in the mire so delighted with what happened since.

Iffy weather forecasts, poor over rate, bad light....no way will I expose myself on draw more than £50 top whack
|
|
By:
Windies doing the right think with the overrate by taking it slow. Easy on their bowlers. No worries for their skipper for getting banned as he's temporary anyways. ICC needs to do something about overrates otherwise teams are going to start slowing down to help their bowlers.

Stokes said there are indentations from the ball, so there could be some variable bounce as the test progresses

Still feels a slightly long draw price for just 4 wickets down and showers possible (although doubt much play lost) but it was a challenging track yesterday and England could easily have lost several more wickets (okay, two of them Jennings, which doesn’t count for several reasons) with a bit less luck. Doubt it will get much easier as the game goes on either. I’m p

I'm again at the mercy of the draw and what it decides to do when I'm asleep.

draw 4.9

I'm not in a good position being WI +840 ; England -430 ;draw break even
I usually make a forecast at the beginning of each day's play and then evolve my betting around that whilst it still appears relavent. Yesterday however got off to a bad start and when i had the opportunity to cash out at break even (when the draw went back up to 8) failed to do so. I 'd be interested to hear how those who have pictures and a knowledge of the weather think today will pan out.My view for what it's worth is that (assuming full play) England will go on to make around 350/400. |
|
By:
i havent seen a ball so need to have a look at the pitch after the roller wears off...laying the draw is what im looking at doing but will wait and probably miss out whilst waiting for lower price as usual for me
havent got a decent forecast i trust so i will look at bbc, accu etcand make a decision from there,a the moment it looks iffy today and monday but it said the same yesterday and enough play was had...hopefully Dujon is on the mic as he called the other test pitches almost spot on GL posy |

Willis seeth incoming

I think 400 is very possible if the new ball doesn't strike. That's quite a big if though.
Windies should be batting today and if they show similar resilience to Trinidad the draw price will be very much in play. |
|
By:
im hearing painfully slow outfield too
|
|
By:
It's a puzzle. If England lose two quick wickets i'd imagine both the draw and WI prices will come in ....I was red on the draw last night but chickened out this morning at 4.9 and 5.5. Another concern is whether or not the WI really care having won the series already.

It is a little early to be 1.4 England 231-4 really? is the pitch decent? New ball and a bit of moisture around Obviously England in pole and hard to see WI win from here but all to play for |

sky got rob key analysing roots technique so your not missing much

The deck requires a persistent diligent approach, still a bit in it, could get a tad easier. That said one session producing 3/4 wickets is definitely not beyond the pale..

,on another note briefly....have a few thoughts but not for here..
France in the rugger, i am shocked to see them priced at 8.6, id be shocked if thats not a great trade at least, Also near evens receiving 14.5, you can dumbell, trade whatever, ive gone in anyway...they should hace mullaged wales, big pack, pace on the flank, will throw it about, need to cut out the errors have a chance, will tire however. |

if you think another 120 runs and all out then 15 is big, surely..
