This is going to be painful for me. Too loaded on SL and that if it happens will take a long time to come down but the draw will also fall as a result!

Yep, you need runs and no rain.

Taking of rain, did it look cloudy a few minutes ago? Massive over contraction of the draw for it to have gone down to 3.7 earlier.

Getting interesting now. WI must bring Gabriel back and SL must tire him out!

Not that I expect a draw but it’s taken ages to come back down. Kept going up to 4 or so. I got rid of loads of red, although have naturally put some back on now. Wicket soon please. Just under £6k red feels like a tiny amount compared to 11k but it isn’t really!

Now draw crash panic.

Should have put some more red back on at 2.5x. Without rain the draw can’t die here. If the Lankans just bat on, they’ll speed up towards a declaration and if wickets fall they’ll hardly go back into their shells scoring wise then either.

Was fearing a wicket in the last over before lunch!

Gabriel has bowled quite a few. Batting should be easier after lunch! Things poised. WI could still skittle SL but hings looking more promising for the Hail Mary SL play!. Small reds on draw and WI with a view to cash draw lay this afternoon.

I’m going to take myself back up to £6.5k draw red. May even take another few hundred on if it crashes further. Still loads of scope for SL to be out setting a smallish target, especially as they’ll look to step up scoring and if not there’s still a lot of hope.

The draw price continues to baffle and bemuse.
By:

Absolutely baffle!

I think there is always the chance or rain so it must stay strong. As SL score runs WI must consequently go out but SL have not come in much yet because they will need to bat for the next 4 hours I guess to set a total. If they bat that long one assumes WI could bat out and if there is weather the draw is stronger than a WI win although I would have thought a WI win should be the shortest price right now, oh it is but not by much!

Unless SL get a wriggle on I'm expecting their price to be a fairly static "pivot" until more wickets fall.

Chase wasn't considered good enough to bowl (or bat???) in English club cricket 3 years ago. His rise has taken many here by surprise...

I think he is or could be a good batsman and even a decent off spinner. Good action and height but needs to improve both departments I guess

Not going to be a draw unless there's a lot of rain.
If Lanka can get another 125+, they'll be in with a good shout of winning

Agreed. Sorry, busy tracking or betting on too much stuff plus busy with kids. Bought draw down to near flat last wicket (well, this test £2k red is near flat) and got a lot of it off back to £3.5k results, £4.6k red draw.

Hard to oppose this stubborn draw price. I lack the nuggets of FS to do so.

140+ overs left in the game. Fluffy clouds and blue sky. Rain will fall as showers I would think.

Draw should be 10s but as I say, not brave enough to take on the price...
