more poetic would be for SL to run out of time. They also missed the best bowling conditions yesterday! This gambit could also be used as gamesmanship and that would be even worse!

Draw on a trip up. Have to say, following forecasts and radar I’ve never been able to work out why the draw has been so short. Even with a totally bizarre and frivolous lost session, a result feels very achievable indeed. If I’m wrong I’m wrong for a very large amount of cash though.

All I can say is thank God the Royal London has gone my way and that I won on the toss (was worth nearly £1.5k, in fact, as got to lay England at 1.98 as well as 1.99), the ODI and almost all the football I bet on yesterday. Will take a lot of the edge off if I do lose massively here. I can stand big losses but I do get grumpy if I have a run of losing on various markets.
Actually I can say lots of other thing so too. Loving Barnard’s work in the RLC. |

Still can’t work this out. It’s obviously not raining but the draw isn’t that keen to climb even so. Perhaps people are remembering how the WI bowled last night.
By:
Was expecting far higher than 2.3 with a start on time. Can’t really leave myself £11k down but this is a terrible price to back at.
By:
Early wicket, blue skies and still only 2.5? I’m just not taking that. I feel bad enough that I backed off half my last £500 lay at 2.26 without accepting any of this sh1t.
Play some shots boys. |
By:
Bloody good ball. Would have got some batsmen too. I don’t think they need to bowl amazingly to get wickets here, just put it on a spot and wait for the variable bounce and movement to take over.

Could green. Won’t.

Did take a bit of red off though.

By:
Well very small red on WI now, would feel almost like a victory if they won!
Hoped for better from SL crepe shot too all they had to do was see this oaf off! |

against the wind 2nd half

Are SL the new Pakistan?
By:
Boom! Taken some backs I slightly regret but still £3.5k green results and now only a mere £6.3k red draw. Doesn’t feel like enough so looking for some lays!
By:
This is going to be painful for me. Too loaded on SL and that if it happens will take a long time to come down but the draw will also fall as a result!
By:
Got a chunk of 5.1 I’ve laid back off at 4.2 and 3.8. Market really believes in a draw here. SL are 4 down with two full days to play, once you account for the extra half hour tomorrow. How much rain are we expecting?
