Was there any cloud? It’s reltaively sunny this evening although shadows are marching across the ground and the sun sets fast in the WI.

ESPNcricinfo understands that umpires laid the charge after reviewing footage of the second day's play, and finding evidence pointing to the application of a substance to the ball. Officials privy to the case say the incident was similar to the one involving South Africa captain Faf du Plessis, who was found guilty of altering the condition of the ball during the 2016-17 Test series in Australia.

if that turns out to be true, it's braindeadness personified

From what I saw on twitter, one of the bowlers hand was taped up and he was working on the ball

They should tell the Sri Lankans they're batting until midnight tonight and anything remotely straight and the finger will be up like WD offered the chance to examine prostates.

The FAF thing was quite contentious but he did step just over the line, I think. It’s a question of what proportion of your saliva needs to be actual saliva.

Those early Lanka runs have dried up.

Market deciding this is a draw. Without rain, I strongly suspect it’s wrong but I think I’m over exposed already.

I think this match will progress fast forward.

Plenty of time depending on rain and huffiness! Start play on time tomorrow ffs!

Play till the close, the runs dont matter

Sl bowl on day 5 with a guy who bowls off spin but also can bowl leggie and googly and top spinner.

SL need to set a target of 200+ to win this match. Half deficit wiped off already. Odds will change rapidly tomorrow. Happy to sit where I am.

Not sure of any result to be honest!

But do you believe we will see more than 100 overs the final two days? You shouldn't.

Clearly, yes I do. The forecasts are a bit rubbish at predicting showers so could be no time lost and could be quite a lot but there isn’t any major rain coming.

WI bowling has been awful this mini session.

I really don’t feel the market has done enough for that wicket. I’m not taking 2.5, which is an insulting price.

If you’d got on the draw in this match, you’d be massively owed that wicket.

They playing on until half past?

Got 2.58. Not a good price but the lay at 2.1 was a huge risk so fair enough.
