Well this is complete torture. I started with a few draw lays (sadly didn’t get all of the 4.7 I had out); tuned in to see first wicket down and have traded the draw nicely since but am very strung out at the moment as keep buying more draw as it blips up and it then won’t fall, probably reasonably enough on the assumptions that this partnership’s charmed life has to end eventually.

Finally it drops. Had chased it up to 8.8 and wasn’t brave enough with the lays for that back but looking very nice if we see low 6s or below.

Fats, was just about to ask, how the hell you trade the draw? I backed it at 8 and it kept drifitng. Of course coming in now. But will go out any moment so how do you lay off? Any tips?

Draw lay 4.6
Draw back 8.2 Draw lay 6.2(to go flat on results and green on draw) My question to you fats, is what happens when this goes tits up and you never see single digits again? Do you avoid going red on results after finding a good entry point to lay the draw and then back it with the results green? For how much do you then back? How do you ensure you don't get burnt by a collapse, which happens fairly often. |

Oh FFS, long post eaten replying to det. Essentially I’m happy to go very red early in a test by either backing draw high on wickets and blips or laying it low. Sometimes this burns me but trains in either direction are rare so taking big risks early in a game is fine. I tend to risk more laying the draw than backing it though.

Kent have coat me £500+ and my position here is red too!

If somehow 300 could be reached that would be fine and dandy!

I have been laying Lanka down to 1.67..first ever sign of Windies getting odds on..but still would need at least 300 for them to be in the game..
|
|
By:
This although looks a flat deck so far...Windies threw wickets away so Lankans can very well score good first time round
|
|
By:
Although we can expect the similar mug batting from Lankans as well
|
|

draw getting value if this don't break up.......can see a flattening deck

I’m now green all over, with a bit over £300 results and still over £6k draw. Loving the recent Sri Lankan work. Some of the draw blips have served me nicely too. Obviously it doesn’t work well if a wicket then falls but on several occasions the draw has blipped up by over a full point (which you get if it’s in the teens but is odd when single figures) and I’ve taken more on.
