You don't need to go hard at the ball in Test Match Cricket! These guys will never learn. As Batting Coach I would make them play with lighter bats and hold the handle near the top not near the blade. Somebody needs shooting!

Why would you lay Eng in Eng when backing them is a free bet till 3 down. Or in today's case till 6 down.

their price isn't going to go North until and if Pak get off to a good start batting and get a good lead(good luck with that)

when eng bat 1st @ home and bat badly, the market always factors in eng's likely bowling effort in the 1st innings ie price holds up well
conversely when they bat well doesn't shorten too much as market views if eng can bat well, must be good batting conditions |
