I learned to touch type when I was 14 from an actual typing book - only useful thing I did as a teenager - and can't get out of the double spacing habit.

Don't think you can play cross batted shots when the bounce is so untrustworthy but I suppose we'd have praised his positive intent if he'd nailed it.  I'm a couple of hundred greener on India so ought to be happy but having thrown away a grand of my green is irritating me.  Still, I'd have bitten both your hands off if you'd offered me a 3k win when I looked to be losing 600 quid chasing the draw price up on a minefield (like a moron).

I really need to remember just to bet value, not trade on day 5 (well it's day 4 but still).  I may actually start slapping myself for doing it.

Shame that India didnt play a few warm up games in SAF instead of 100 games vs Lanka instead, this could have been a close series!

They could have won it easily. Pujara two run outs last test plus soft dismissals and dropped catches. SA lucky.

2 dreadful shots.

You don't play the pull on here. As for Phuluwotsit, you want them to bowl full. Get forward lad!

It's not Elgar's game but surely he has to play some shots now. On this surface he's no real right to expect much support from 9, 10 and Jack.

rabada can bat but the last two are sh1t. Elgar can shift gears

I don't think you can entirely blame either of them: I don't think Philander's shot was percentage but a certain amount of positive intent against the old ball wasn't totally unreasonable and Lucky is a position too high in the order at 8 and got a pretty good ball first up.  Easy to say get forward but he was a new tailender on a pitch where he's seen team mates peppered.

Brilliant come back from India.  Shame I didn't have any connection when their price was getting stratospheric although who knows whether I'd have taken another chunk on India at 10+?

Lol, yes it's gone now.  Couple of balls jump to hit the body and it might go down under 100 again.

Nice to know it's not just me.  To be fair, I've actually had an excellent day's trading, one draw back too many having got the rest laid off and last couple of bets on SA aside.  All outcomes are a lot stronger than they were when I woke up, despite my 1 grand tip and even that could have worked, I suppose.

Ahh come on FS, bravery is all part of the game and they're wearing armour!

All he had to do was shuffle forward. Vern's got play with a straight batted push through the offside.

It's like watching England!
