It's an incredible piece of luck, after the multi-misfortunes so far. I've topped up on Eng for a trade tomorrow. If it drifts out overnight I may add some more. I'm always amazed at how much the market shifts around after hours, often in counter-intuitive directions, then reverts back just before play resumes.

Draw is longer now than before they came off for rain.
Backed at 4.3 thinking it would come in as England had been let off the hook. This trade is starting to cost me a few quid.

Got out of my pre-match draw back and maxed into Aus at 1.4 this morning while it was there.
I don't know how much resistance Eng will put up but I'm not overly confident.

Not had a bet on this yet, licking my wounds after first Test.

You can have all the plans in the wolrd but if you cannot execute then you are doomed.

I am very impressed with the Australian fortitude while batting. I knew their bowling was better than ours in Aus and I figured we could be pretty toothless when the kookuburra goes like a soggy sponge.

I am a lttle disappointed with our lack of fortitude. Sounds stupid but if Vince had not run himslef out this series could still be up for grabs.

I do still think England have a chance of a draw and with it retaining the Ashes but in all likelihood they won't.

If England play Wood and Stokes in the 4th Test and I am going to pick a fight with a little guy!

Aus look too short. We won't see a follow on unless Eng collapse and I don't think they will.

Aus will look for 4 sessions to bowl out Eng 2nd innings. But they will settle for a draw if Eng can bat thru today and get the lead below 200.

still gonna lose even if they are say bowled out for 300. plenty of time for oz to get 350+ in front and have well over 100 overs in the 4th inns

im still holding draw lay at 4.4 so a bit p1ssed off with that rain last night as Starc was on the money
ball still new so see if Aus bowl well and aggressively first up..there were a couple of iffy early sessions at the gabba so not entirely convinced they will knock em off for nowt

any weather issues?forecast looks better but dont really trust it

They had the stats up for average wickets per ball, and the first session was still more effective regardless of the talk about the night session.
Realistically, the difference is England are more rested now, but outside of that, be dangerous for them in the first hour.

Bit of talk that Smith should have declared earlier.  Tend to think that he hedged his bets by holding off.  On the chance that England are batting the day through, they will be getting another new ball for the night session tonight.

Weather forecast looks good.

I am about a 6 pack in front.  Still green but gave plenty back yesterday, got it back up, and then laid Aus on the rain and they shortened.  ffs  Not risking an early wicket, so start again time.  Looking for England to get through 6-7 overs without a wicket, and hopefully can get involved for a quick 20 ticks or so over a couple of overs.
