Beautiful.  Radar just shows pockets around the area.  Anybodies guess.  Doubt there is too much in it though.  Looks heavyish in the area but not much around.

Putting the pegs in expecting it to get heavier.

Pretty sure not much outside of directly over the ground though.

Still raining but I suspect we aren't very far off a clean up and back out there.  Brisbane so should be able to catch up play tonight.  Not too many dramas

I ashley thought Stonewall and Malan would provide pleasant surprises. This is such a bonus.

I didn't see many positive opinions of stoneman, vince & malan being expressed on here pre-series, although I didn't foresee a road either

No absolutely none pre series!

They have both looked better out here. Stoneman has been wintering here for years and Malan looked much more comfortable since the summer.

Well done to the selectors because I genuinely thought we would be fooked!

The rain in Queensland has helped before the game. They did say it may not be as fast and bouncy as usual.

I want to see what our bowlers look like after 20 overs and what theirs look like after 140 overs!!

I just want to see Aus batted out of this today! I took a big gamble on laying Aus and hope it pays off! have a bigger green on England than the draw and will have to be patient. I have a feeling there will be a result by the end of the match but wonder how England will get 20 wickets on this until the pitch changes. Again I am hoping it takes spin by day 5

this has the feel of 2010/11 when cook & trott gorged on a road

not sure the 2nd wicket would have been favourite for the 1st england 100 partnership of the series Cool

they've left the ball brilliantly. often you get out to balls you don't have to play

gilly reckons the 1st day has lit the spark to this series pmsl

a lot of pressure on aussie's iffy batting line up 2nd and 4th if england can post 400+

teams these days don't generally show a lot of fight when behind in the game
