That wicket was waiting to happen. Why would you bowl short of alength to him? Terrible batting by Handscombe.

Oh my. I have seen Marsh bat well and Starc and Cummins. This is going to be tough cricket. I still think Aussie are way too short here!

England bowling well to plans ashley. They obviously thought about bowling wide to smudge early on but have now reverted so fair enough.

cyt your losses when you can Terry. England are a very good price from here still. Like I said I believe the market has got this wrong for most of the match. I do not know why Aussie are favourites for so long!

Marsh is a CLASS player. I remember a knock he played v Kiwis in a day/nighter 2 years ago when Aus were tottering.

Definately a sausage and egg MacMuffin day Terry!

I am feeling smug but can't take anything for granted. England still have to winkle them out and Smith is still there.

NEVER write the Aussies off, especially at the Gabbertoire

Yes, England gave a few wickets away. Point in fact was that Woakes dismissal was a full half volley. He did not get his foot across.

No demons at all. If Aus bat with diligence they can get within Englands total but I feel they may also be well short today!

it's a difficult wicket to score freely on. not many batsman have the patience to grind it out when it's a bit tricky

This pair can grind it out, I've seen them do it in SL & India

Marsh is playing for his future as well as Aus, can he deliver under that pressure?  I think YES! thats why I somehow find myself on Aus now and my big red has been transferred from Aus to Eng.

Could blow up in my face.

I dont know why Root is persisting with Moen. I think they should have scuffed the ball up and looked to get it to reverse.
