Depends though - sometimes two outcomes will move in tandem until one of them reaches an inflexion point and stalls or reverses whilst the other outcome continues to shorten, e.g. the team that's ahead looks like putting on a massive score and its odds stabilise but causes the draw to shorten instead, yet you still believe the team that's ahead
will win. I would typically avoid backing the expected result as the bet is biased to go the wrong way.

Actually I'd probably drip-lay the draw or drip-back the outsider in that scenario as the two remaining outcomes often tend to pivot around the "stuck" odds.

England way too short but that doesn't mean I don't think they can win coz they can.
By:

When: 27 Aug 17 13:17
8 sessions left, you'd think England would have to bat 6 sessions for it to be a draw.
Wouldn't fancy WI to last too long on day 5 on this pitch

Tom

I hope this doesn't confuse you.

I backed the draw just before my last post at 12.5.I have not posted or looked at betfair prices since then and low and behold the price has halved securing me a profitable trade if i so wish.

When i backed the draw it was the outsider of three and guess what, even though it has halved in price it is still the outsider of three.

I don't think that is backing the most lightly outcome Tom but is the most profitable method at the said time of backing.

HTH.....Laugh

England parity or better at close. If they bat well they bat into Day 5.

Tom u r trying too hard. He said he hadn't seen the prices not that he wasn't on the forum. Draw was that price only after the two early wickets so pecker can't have placed that bet after 11:10 or so because it quickly went down
