You'd never get MP's fiddling expenses either.

Barely any NHS funds to siphon off. We need to find £23 million in savings in our trust this year. Even firing me wouldn't make more than a tiny dent in it.

Approximately half of it I'd say FS.

Any doctor worth his salt would say "look I've been skiving and betting full-time instead of treating you. I apologise and here's 100k to make up for it.". Only decent thing to do.

No need to hang your head in shame. Just come clean and admit it. We've all made mistakes before.

Lol, I haven't suggested they bung me £500k and I'll see whether I can ramp it up to a couple of mill for them yet. It could work.

500k on toss might be hard to get but you never know.

Right, cheers all, off to take my daughter for an ice cream for being a good girl at bedtime enough to get a row of stickers (translates as only messing me around for about half an hour ad eventually agreeing to have stories read to her and go to sleep).

Until the next time we bet on tosses and indeed toss.

It's a sensible proposition laying at 1.99. I've never lost doing it, so it must be a good plan.

Just had a small bet on Bangas on outright market at 130. NZ are about 14. Seems a big difference for either team to go through.

I've got a lot of bangla green already. Problem is they'll remain long even if they go through but I still think it's a good bet, partly because I think England should be somewhat favoured against Aus.

I'd have England 1.9 or under, although maybe a bit too patriotic. Aus obviously a decent ODI team but the batting isn't a patch on England's and the balance of the side is inferior too, although obviously Starc is a beast.

Ttt, I bet no UKIP seat so definitely haven't voted for the ****s, not that there's a candidate in Hitchin and Harpenden anyway. That's sort of the point in terms of them not winning 5% of the vote, which is the longest thing I'm on at 1.36 average.
