That was lots of NZ lays, this just a couple but at really high prices although similar concept in expecting lots of time lost to be a factor in the underdogs not winning. Turned out to be correct in the end that game.

Are you actually God?

Got another lay of WI in just before the rain hit but a draw back would have worked an awful lot better.  I've not got a bad position this test as long as WI don't destroy the Pak batting but it feels like I've left an awful lot of great chances lying about.

Except on the occasions when you need to bail.  As it happens, holding his nerve on original draw lays then switching rather than bailing out and backing draw before play would have worked better. Don't go paying any attention to the man who got lays of WI in at 18.5 and 14.5 just before they announced a start time though.

I like jucel but this is just a bit irritating of him, I have to say.  It's obviously only galling when you're fcking the thing up yourself, which I've certainly done. I do still have a very nice looking Pakistan green though, which I hope will come well back into play.

Pays to pay attention to jucel. Even though I opposed him start of this match.

I have a decent enough position for the amounts I trade.

you are correct FS, i should of trusted my instincts with my original draw lay but after that i have clawed things back quite well, lessons learnt again for me

That is a Super Number of Ticks I have won on the draw in last hour, if I'm being honest it has an element of chasing attached to it as when arbing nags earlier this evening I made a manual error that cost me plenty!

Good stuff from Juce but I don't know how he gets any sleep with such big amounts in play.
Knowing when to bail is an art and I get it wrong more often than I get it right.

I do realise that.  Given how badly I stuffed up the last India Australia and NZ SA tests, I was a very lucky man to escape both with significant profits so I'm up on luck recently. Haven't had any huge test wins recently but I've done pretty well and not had any big losses either, so am quite content.  I've also done okay this IPL and been massive with football last couple of weeks so I'm not really complaining.

No sleep when a test match is on and there is weather involved! Try and sneak an hour or two when i think the market is sleeping.

Bit irritating no play at the moment, partly because of my position but mostly because wife has gone to bed to get some rest as baby due yesterday so pretty likely to go into labour any time soon, so perfect chance to watch some cricket and there isn't any!

Good luck with the baby FS! Pity it isn't in the Aus/nz season. You could have pulled all nighters and gained brownie points

Have certainly done that before.  When I was first on Betfair bit over three years back, I watched an awful lot of the awful 2013/14 Ashes series with what was then a 6 month old girl who didn't sleep well.  I managed to get money on England every match, which didn't turn out well but was a long time before I traded and was probably for stakes of the odd tenner.

It's a boy this time.  Will leave me with a 12 year old from first marriage, who's a great lad, pedantic, sarcastic, irritating - I'm so proud of him; my nearly 4 year old girl, who's a lovely little lass, although bossy as anything and a baby boy for her to order around.
